Abstract
India is slowly emerging as a global superpower and is on its way to become a developed nation. But it has forgotten
its own heart and soul - the villages. A large population of India lives in the villages and heavily relies on agriculture. A nation
cannot be stated as developed if all fields are not completely developed. The farmers and villagers face many problems � the
prices of fertilisers and pesticides, poor production of crops, unavailable safe drinking water, employment opportunities and
unsanitary conditions. This has led to large migration of people to the cities leading to increase in poverty. Through this project,
we plan to construct a sludge-biogas plant where the wastewater is treated. The treated water will then be sent to the fields for
farming and sludge is sent into the biogas unit which is on further reaction produces biogas.
