It studies how technological innovation can achieve and promote sustainable development, particularly in developing countries. There are three dimensional but interconnected pillars of SD, namely environment, economy, and society as a whole. The decision and policymakers need to be always alert for mitigating the effects of business and its activities on these pillars and ensure a better place for the future generation.
