Abstract We are known that library is an important part of higher education (college, university etc.) system and Librarian plays an important (main) role in a library management system. Out of library traditional work a librarian may be observe another vital role as a teacher, organizer, counselor etc. In the changing era development of information technology huge amount of change in the field of library management system, which is more challenging for a librarian. The challenges relate to acquisition of ICTs, preservation of electronic information resources, maintenance and security issues, training of users, and general lack of awareness and commitment among library stakeholders. In this paper we want to highlight that how can a librarian improve in higher education system and help others student, researcher etc. from a problematic point of view and also present an evaluated study on the main topic base on Sundarban Hazi Desarat College.
