Abstract
The intersection of feminism and ecology has been a topic of discussion in literary and sociocultural studies for some time now. However, it has only been in the past five decades that Indian literature has delved into ecofeminism - a blending of feminist and ecological theories. This research paper focuses on a critical analysis of the poetry of Sugathakumari and Kamala Das, two prolific Indian writers who have championed women's rights and the conservation of nature. The paper aims to view their writings through the lens of ecofeminism, treating them as political commentaries on women and nature that are unapologetic in their approach
