Abstract
This study looks at the macroeconomic effects of COVID-19 on Tamil Nadu's economy from the first shutdown period. The lockdown was implemented to stop the coronavirus from spreading. The lockdown was progressively lifted by the Tamil Nadu state government; however, confinement zones were not included. Numerous research has looked into how COVID-19 may affect the Indian economy. To investigate the regional perspective, there are, however, few research. This study investigates the economic impact of the COVID-19 on Tamil Nadu. This analysis is based on secondary data that was collected from the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy
