As a result, the pharmaceutical industry's most significant goal is to adopt an effective quality policy. Total quality management (TQM) can efficiently attain quality. TQM plays an important role in the pharmaceutical sector, from the inception of the industry through the safety of the marketed drug till it is consumed. Total quality management is a multifaceted approach that entails adhering to quality standards in all aspects of pharmaceutical manufacturing. The purpose of this review is to provide a broad overview of the TQM concept and the many management strategies that contribute to pharmaceutical quality improvement.
