ABSTRACT Modern era is era of technology. Education sector which is precursor, mediator and product of technology can not be refrained from its dynamic and fast changing effects. With passage of time, the education system all over the world has gone through a drastic change. Modern day complex needs can not be fulfilled by traditional education system where everything is dynamic and evolving at a very fast pace. Thus, to resolve the shortcomings of the traditional education system, the world is moving towards digital education which addresses all the issues and challenges of traditional education. Digital Education can be defined as the use of a combination of instruction, technology and digital content in the education system to make it more effective and efficient than the traditional education system.
