Abstract
This paper give an overview of current Facial Emotion Recognition (FER) stages, techniques, and datasets. Automatic FER is useful in most of the applications such as healthcare, teaching, criminal investigation, Human Robot Interface (HRI), etc. This paper is to understand the basic principles of FER and make a comparision of current research.
