Abstract
Background - the concept of live-in relationship is a very common nowadays this is because various countries are accepting this concept and the law is protection it.
Characteristics of study- In India we don't have any specific legislation which deals with the provisions of live-in-relationship. But it is not illegal act at all , various other statutory laws are protecting it.
And to putting question over these kind of relationship is a violation of article 21 of the constitution.
Method used- Under this article , the sources like constitutional law of india by J.N.Pandey, Indian polity by Laxmikant and the annual reports of supreme court has been used.
Conclusion- the intention is the major element of crime, if your intentions is good and pure , you are not an offender.Same rule will apply in the case of live-in-relationship. Under these kind of relationship the true intention and good faith is always important.
