Abstract
The National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020), which was approved by the Union Cabinet of India on 29 July 2020, outlines the vision of India's new education system.The policy is a comprehensive framework for elementary education to higher education as well as vocational training in both rural and urban India. NEP 2020 aims to provide infrastructure support, innovative education centres to bring back dropouts into the mainstream besides tracking of students and their learning levels, facilitating multiple pathways to learning involving both formal and non-formal education modes and association of counsellors or well-trained. This paper discuses the main features of NEP2020 regarding education at various stages.
