 Abstract

Medicinal plants play a vital role in maintaining human health. In this regard, Abutilon indicum and Cyanodon dactylon are among them. The aim of the present study is to determine the preliminary phytochemical screening of both the leaves of Abutilon indicum and Cyanodon dactylon in methanol by both qualitative and quantitative analysis. This study also aims to determine the effect of methanolic extracts over Enterobacteriaceae family by agar well diffusion method and disc diffusion method. Phytoconstituents such as alkaloids, terpenoids, flavonoids, saponins, carbohydrates, and proteins were identified from both samples. The quantification of flavonoids, alkaloids and phenols were done. The extracts inhibited Escherichia coli followed by Proteus vulgaris, Bacillus sp, and Klebsiella pneumoniae. The results suggested that Abutilon indicum possess more effect compared with Cyanodon dactylon.

 Abstract

Medicinal plants are the gift to human beings to lead a disease free healthy life. They play a major role in maintaining human health. One such medicinal plant is Pergularia daemia. It is a perennial herb belonging to Asclepiadaceae family which is distributed in tropical and sub tropical regions. The whole plant is used to treat Jaundice since ancient times. It has anthelminthic, laxative and anti pyretic properties. It has phytocomponents like alkaloids, triterpenes, saponins and cardenolides. It has many pharmacological activities like anti inflammatory, hepatoprotective, anti cancer, anti diabetic, antioxidant, antifungal, antibacterial, analgesic, antifertility and central nervous system depressant activity. The present review aims to provide detailed survey of literature on the phytochemical and pharmacological properties of Pergularia daemia.

 Abstract

Globalization has completely changed the face of the world and it also has great impact on education. Teacher education is the base of all educational disciplines as it provides education to prepare the future teachers. Like all other professions, globalization has direct impact on teacher education. Therefore there is inclusive paradigm change in teacher education. The main purpose of this was to explore the role of Globalization and NCTE in bringing paradigm change in teacher education. Globalization has brought various changes in education. The global requirements identified for education include promoting life-long education, re-emphasizing the quality of learners experience, reorganizing subjects into key learning areas so as to develop a broad knowledge-base among pupils as well as the ability of thinking in a critical way and innovate and promotion of global awareness and outlook, and rising levels of professionalism among teachers. The NCTE is making every effort to improve the quality of teacher training in the country. The quality of teacher education not only depends on competently sound and related curriculum, but also on the way the curriculum is put into practice in teacher education institutions. This, in turn, depends on the proficiency of the faculty and its quality and the infrastructural and instructional facilities provided in the Institutions. Here, an attempt has been made by the researcher to make a systematic investigation into the steps taken by the NCTE to prepare professional teachers and their effectiveness towards a paradigm change in teacher education. Various steps have been taken by the NCTE for paradigm changes in teacher education. These changes include, increase in duration of teacher education programmes, standard curriculum, stability in theory and practice, shift from teacher to student, quality assurance and change in evaluation procedures.

 Abstract

The main purpose of this paper is to establish some useful formulae by using the inverse Laplace transform of various product of algebraic power and the Aleph function with general class of polynomial. Some special cases involving generalized hypergeometric function, Mittag-Leffler function, Hermite polynomial and Laguerre polynomial are presented to enhance the utility and importance of our main results.

 Abstract

The Companies Act, 1956 is replaced with The Companies Act, 2013 and 'corporate social responsibilities' (CSR) has been made mandatory for a particular class of companies. There has to be an all inclusive growth of the society with the growth of the companies. Perhaps keeping this in mind, Indian law makers brought this law. This research paper focuses on to understand the issues and challenges of corporate social responsibility.
