The present paper reveals that, Rekindling the Human Spirit in A Globalized Society. Globalization has been a long process of political, economic and cultural domination of some countries over others. While the spiritual essence of the human values is inherent within us, the cross-cultural and individual expressions are learned, developed and practiced throughout our lifetime in the social environments we live and work in. This integrated wholeness of the human values gives us tremendous strength as we seek to bring them forth in our work. Our personal and professional journeys have led us all to work and learn from colleagues, clients, friends and lovers from countries and cultures other than those of our birth. Education is humanizing as it empowers students to become fully alive, to care for their own and the common good, to relish life and accept its challenges, to exercise their rights and honor their responsibilities, to champion justice and compassion.

The Right to education is a fundamental human right proclaimed by Articles 13 and 14 of the United Nations International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (1966). Ratifying this document, state parties full y agrees 'that education shall be directed to the full development of the human personality and the sense of its dignity, and shall strengthen the respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms'. The right to education is considered as a fundamental human right in a series of other 20th century international documents, which guarantee and protect this right for everyone. The constitution of India supports the right of universal education until age 14 and has had a long-standing goal of free and compulsory education for all children between the ages of six and 14. However, India remains a land of contradictions. Despite a vibrant emerging economy and a string of excellent colleges that produce high caliber professionals, India has not made the grade yet on primary education.

This paper explores the intricate relationship between poverty alleviation, credit availability, and rural development in the context of the Indian banking sector. Drawing on historical and policy-driven interventions such as the nationalization of banks (1969) and subsequent rural banking reforms, this paper highlights how financial inclusion initiatives have influenced rural development trajectories. Using data from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), National Sample Survey Organisation (NSSO), and World Bank reports up to the year 2012, the analysis underscores the role of credit as a critical poverty reduction tool by enhancing agricultural productivity and fostering small-scale industries. While significant progress has been made since the 1990s, challenges such as regional disparities, lack of access among marginalized groups, and over-reliance on informal lending networks persist. The paper concludes by recommending actionable strategies for banking institutions to intensify financial inclusivity and impact rural poverty effectively.

This paper explores the themes of postcolonial identity and migration in Buchi Emecheta's literary works, focusing on how her narratives reflect the complexities of cultural displacement and the challenges of assimilation faced by African immigrants in the postcolonial era. Through novels such as Second-Class Citizen, The Joys of Motherhood, and The Bride Price, Emecheta examines the struggles of maintaining cultural heritage while adapting to new sociopolitical realities in foreign lands. The analysis highlights how Emecheta's protagonists navigate identity crises, systemic racism, and gendered inequalities, reflecting broader socio-historical conditions of postcolonial African societies. This research investigates Emecheta's contributions to African literature, emphasizing her portrayal of African women's experiences as they navigate the complex socio-cultural and political realities of a postcolonial world. By analyzing her major novels, such as The Joys of Motherhood, Second-Class Citizen, and The Slave Girl, this study delves into her nuanced critique of gender roles, motherhood, identity, and the tension between tradition and modernity. Central to Emecheta's narrative is her portrayal of African women who defy societal constraints and patriarchal norms, showcasing their resilience and agency amidst structural oppression. Her characters are neither victims nor idealized figures but individuals grappling with the dual burdens of traditional expectations and the pressures of colonial and postcolonial modernity. The research highlights how Emecheta reclaims African women's voices and challenges stereotypes, offering a more authentic representation of their struggles and aspirations. This study also examines Emecheta's exploration of migration and displacement, which reflect her personal diasporic experiences and those of her characters. Migration, often portrayed as a path to liberation and opportunity, simultaneously brings alienation and identity crises. Her narratives shed light on the psychological and cultural toll of displacement, particularly for African women negotiating their roles in foreign and often hostile environments. Emecheta's works address the broader implications of migration, revealing how African diasporic identity is continuously shaped by the interplay of tradition, adaptation, and resistance. Another critical focus of this research is Emecheta's critique of colonialism's enduring impact on African societies. Her works depict the disruption of traditional structures and values while interrogating the complex process of cultural retention and transformation. Through her nuanced storytelling, Emecheta emphasizes the importance of reconciling the past with the demands of the present, advocating for a balance that allows African women to assert their autonomy while honoring their heritage.

Buchi Emecheta, one of the foremost African writers of the 20th century, is celebrated for her exploration of the lives and struggles of African women, both within Africa and in the diaspora. This paper delves into Emecheta's contributions to African English literature, examining her works through the lenses of feminist and post-colonial criticism. By analyzing her novels, such as Second-Class Citizen, The Joys of Motherhood, and The Bride Price, this study highlights Emecheta's distinctive narrative style, which blends realism, African oral traditions, and socio-cultural critique to portray the complexities of gender, race, and identity. Her works, while rooted in specific African contexts, address universal themes such as migration, the challenges of cultural assimilation, and the transformative power of education. Furthermore, this paper examines the critical reception of Emecheta's writing, noting her initial marginalization in literary circles, followed by a gradual recognition of her contribution to feminist literature. The study also explores Emecheta's legacy, underscoring her role in the emergence of African feminist thought and her influence on subsequent generations of writers. Ultimately, Buchi Emecheta's literary corpus serves as a powerful testament to the resilience of African women, offering an insightful critique of colonialism, patriarchy, and the intersectionality of race and gender. This research affirms Emecheta's enduring significance within the African literary canon and her lasting impact on global feminist discourse.

This research paper examines the critical issue of water scarcity and its economic implications for agriculture in semi-arid Rajasthan, a region that heavily relies on agriculture for livelihoods and economic stability. The study identifies the primary causes of water scarcity, including erratic rainfall, over-extraction of groundwater, and climate change, which collectively threaten agricultural productivity and the financial security of farmers. Through an economic analysis, it highlights the significant increase in production costs during drought years and the corresponding reduction in net returns for key crops such as wheat and pulses. Adaptive strategies, including the adoption of efficient irrigation techniques, promotion of rainwater harvesting, and crop diversification, are discussed as essential measures to enhance agricultural resilience. The paper also emphasizes the need for integrated water resource management (IWRM) and supportive policy frameworks to address the water crisis effectively. Recommendations include providing financial support to farmers, implementing insurance schemes, and enhancing awareness through training programs. Ultimately, this study underscores the urgent need for sustainable water management practices to mitigate the adverse effects of water scarcity and ensure the long-term viability of agriculture in Rajasthan, thereby contributing to food security and economic development in the region.

The study looks at the possibilities and problems of women holding political office in Bihar, India. Women face prejudice based on their gender, a lack of funding, and social constraints that make it hard for them to be active politicians. Women are still underrepresented in political institutions, even though the constitution mandates gender equality. However, reservation rules have helped to improve this situation. The research examines the dynamics of women's political involvement using a mixed-method approach, which combines quantitative and qualitative data. Advocating for specific initiatives to boost women's political engagement in Bihar, it stresses the importance of progressive cultural attitudes and supporting political parties in fostering the success and acceptability of women politicians.
