Abstract
The quality of a crystal is the main factor which ultimately controls the performance of the devices and hence the systems. The quality is very much depends on the automatic, detection and control during the crystal growth process. The automatic control provides information on the position and shape of the interface and hence the effect of different temperature gradients and translation rate on the interface shape can be determined. This is the main reason why some of the researchers have used the interface shape information as a feedback signals in the interface controller.
