Abstract
Problems involving in propulsion mechanism are well known. This paper describes
a better way of controlling the propulsion system by designing electrically driven model and
speed control of induction motor is done by using flux comparator technique. In the Electric
propulsion system, dynamic model of induction motor drive has been developed and a
transfer function approach to the transient response investigation is formulated by the means
of d-q variables in all the reference frames that is stationary, rotating and synchronously
rotating reference frames. The transfer functions of the various combinations of input and
output are presented and the speed control of induction motor is done by flux comparator
technique and the results are validated through simulation.
