Abstract
Women entrepreneurshipisvery important andmajor sourceeconomicgrowthandprogressof business in acountry. This is very importantandvibrantcomponentofeconomicandsocialtransformationofthenation.It is important for any economy to tap the power of women entrepreneurship. Women entrepreneurship is a tool to women empowerment. This paper looks into the relation of basic education and success of women entrepreneurs. Three level of education were taken (1) Education below class XII (2) Graduate (3) Post graduate. These three groups were checked on their entrepreneurial quotient. ScaledevelopedbyBaumbackCM,LawzerK(1979) to measure entrepreneurial quotient was used. It was studed in this paper ifformaleducation has any impact on thelevel of Entrepreneurship Quotient ofwomen entrepreneurs.Area of the study was central part of India in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Questionnairesweredistributedallacrossthestate. Thispapercallsforanefforttobemadeatthelevelofeducationforthedevelopmentofwomenentrepreneurship.
