It also examines the role of sustainable processing and manufacturing, focusing on resource efficiency, waste reduction, and the adoption of eco-friendly packaging. The distribution and retailing sectors are highlighted as critical points for reducing food loss, promoting local and seasonal foods, and improving cold chain infrastructure.
