Most authors meet a publisher through exactly one page — the journal they submit to. That is enough to publish a paper, but it leaves a natural question: what else exists once the paper is accepted? Journey & Wisdom Publications runs separate domains because they do separate jobs. Collapsing them into one site would hide six services behind whichever one happened to be on the homepage; keeping them apart lets each be judged on its own evidence.

The network map

Thirteen Platforms Around Four Shared Services

Publication platforms on the outside, shared infrastructure in the middle — the services are what let thirteen separate platforms behave consistently. Every node opens its site.

Journal & book publication

The Thirteen Publication Platforms

Every domain below publishes peer-reviewed journal content, academic books, or both. Each card gives the website, what it does and who it suits.

Journal & book publicationWave family

The group’s international-facing publication platform for peer-reviewed journal articles and academic books, carrying the same editorial expectations as the rest of the network: a declared scope, documented review, registered identifiers and open reading.

Best for: Authors who want an international journal or book venue with the network’s review and identifier standards.

Open-access publicationOpen access

The open-access arm of the network and sister domain to OpenRGATE.org. Articles and book chapters are published for open reading, with metadata deposited so discovery services can find them — finished research does not disappear behind a paywall.

Best for: Authors and funders who need every output free to read from day one.

Repository, discovery & publicationOpen access

OpenRGATE.org is the network’s free open-access repository and journal-discovery platform. It archives scholarly content and helps authors find peer-reviewed, indexed journals by evidence rather than advertising.

Best for: Archiving finished work so it stays findable, and searching for a suitable journal.

Book publication & similarity intakeBooks

The network’s book publishing platform: edited volumes, monographs, conference proceedings, thesis-to-book conversions and textbooks, each with ISBN handling, editorial support and production. It also receives the group’s similarity-check requests.

Best for: Monographs, edited volumes, textbooks, proceedings and thesis-to-book projects.

Publisher front doorBooks

The publishing house’s own front door — it presents Journey & Wisdom Publications as a publisher rather than as any single journal, covering both journals and books. The natural starting point for anyone checking who stands behind the platforms.

Best for: Institutions and authors who want to understand the publisher before choosing a venue.

Network hubNetwork

The connective layer of the group that ties the journals, book platforms and shared services together. Where a single journal answers “what do you publish?”, the network answers “what else is available once your paper is accepted?”

Best for: Seeing the whole network — journals, books and services — in one place.

Society, journal & book publicationSociety & scholars

The network’s engineering-focused society platform, publishing journal articles and books in engineering and applied technology and hosting engineering event proceedings. A society platform puts subject communities and discipline-specific standards first.

Best for: Engineering and applied-technology research, books and event proceedings.

Multidisciplinary publicationWave family

A broad, multidisciplinary platform for journal articles and academic books across science, engineering, management, humanities and social sciences. Its wide remit suits work that crosses disciplines or does not fit a narrow journal.

Best for: Interdisciplinary papers and books that span several fields.

Journal & book publicationWave family

A general publication platform in the Wave family that handles peer-reviewed articles and book projects end to end — submission, review coordination, production, identifier registration and archiving.

Best for: Authors who want one platform to manage the whole route from manuscript to publication.

Journal & book publicationWave family

Sits alongside JAPWave with a research-output emphasis — original studies, empirical work and research reports, published as journal articles or collected into books.

Best for: Research groups and scholars publishing empirical studies and research reports.

Flagship Wave platformWave family

The flagship of the Wave family — JWDOI, JWJMS, JWSCAN and JWCMT all take their prefix from it. It publishes peer-reviewed journal content and books and sets the reference point for how the family works.

Best for: Authors who want the reference platform the rest of the Wave family is modelled on.

Scholar network & publicationSociety & scholars

The scholar-facing side of the group, organised around researchers rather than journal titles. It connects an author’s published work, profile and citations so the record travels with the scholar across journals.

Best for: Researchers building a visible, connected publication record.

Research disseminationWave family

The research-dissemination platform of the family, publishing journal articles and books with an emphasis on getting completed research in front of the readers who can use it — through open metadata, repository deposit and discovery services.

Best for: Completed research that needs the widest possible readership.

Thirteen platforms, one practical question: does your manuscript fit IJCRT? Check the call for papers, then submit — ₹1501 for Indian authors, $59 USD for foreign authors, payable only after acceptance.

Shared infrastructure

DOI, Similarity Checking, Journal Management & Conferences

These four publish nothing themselves. They are the infrastructure every publication platform runs on — and each is available to authors, editors and organisers outside the network too.

JWSCAN — jwscan.org

Plagiarism & similarity checking

The network’s similarity-checking service. Manuscripts run through iThenticate by Turnitin — the publisher-grade tool that searches subscription scholarly content a student Turnitin account never sees — and the author receives the overall index with a source-by-source breakdown.

  • iThenticate by Turnitin similarity report
  • Overall index plus matched-source breakdown
  • Checked before submission, not after acceptance
  • Your file is not added to a student repository

JWJMS — jwjms.org

Journal management system

The editorial workflow software behind the network. It moves a manuscript from submission through desk screening, reviewer assignment and revision rounds to the final decision, keeping a record of every step. Authors meet it as a submission portal and dashboard.

  • Online submission and author dashboards
  • Reviewer invitation, reminders and report collection
  • Revision rounds with a full decision history
  • Issue building and publication scheduling

JWDOI — jwdoi.org

Crossref DOI registration

Digital Object Identifier registration and metadata deposit for the network. A Crossref DOI keeps a published article permanently citable — it resolves wherever the article lives, and the deposited metadata links references to and from other publishers.

  • Permanent, resolvable article identifiers
  • Full Crossref metadata deposit
  • Reference linking to and from other publishers
  • Journal articles, books, chapters and proceedings

JWCMT — jwcmt.org

Conference management & tracking

The Journal Wave Conference Management & Tracking System. Organisers run an academic conference end to end in it: call for papers, abstract and full-paper submission, reviewer allocation, decisions, registration, scheduling and proceedings.

  • Call for papers and submission portal
  • Reviewer allocation and decision tracking
  • Registration and delegate management
  • A route from accepted paper to published proceedings

One manuscript, seven stages

How the Platforms Connect on a Single Paper

Follow one paper through the network and the reason for separate domains becomes obvious.

  1. ManuscriptFormat, references, ethics and author order settled first
  2. JWSCANOptional similarity report before submission
  3. JWJMSSubmission enters the editorial workflow, with a record
  4. Peer reviewReports, revision rounds and the decision
  5. PublicationOn the journal or book platform; charges due now
  6. JWDOIOptional Crossref DOI and metadata deposit
  7. OpenRGATEOptional open repository deposit

Dashed stages are optional. For a conference paper, JWCMT covers stages two to four inside the event — submission, reviewer allocation and acceptance — and accepted papers move into proceedings or journal publication from there, without re-keying.

Verify Any Platform, Including Ours

  1. Check the ISSN on the ISSN Portal; the registered title must match exactly.
  2. Check the editors — named people with affiliations you can confirm independently.
  3. Read the peer-review policy — the model, how reviewers are chosen, who decides.
  4. Read the ethics policy — plagiarism, authorship, AI use, corrections and retractions.
  5. Open several DOIs and confirm they resolve, using Crossref Search.
  6. Verify indexing at the source — never trust a logo on a website.
  7. Read the complete fee — base charge, extras, taxes and refund terms.
  8. Ask your institution for its current written rule before you submit or pay.

Questions

Journey & Wisdom Ecosystem FAQs

What is Journey & Wisdom Publications?

Journey & Wisdom Publications is the publishing house behind IJCRT and a group of related journal, book, repository and publishing-service platforms. Instead of one website doing everything, it runs separate domains for publication, DOI registration, similarity checking, editorial workflow and conference management.

Why does one publisher run seventeen domains?

Because they do seventeen different jobs. A journal platform, a book house, a DOI service, a similarity-check service, an editorial workflow system and a conference platform have different users and obligations. Separate domains keep each purpose clear and let each be judged on its own evidence.

Are all these platforms the same journal?

No. They are separate platforms with separate remits. IJCRT is one journal within the group; publishing with IJCRT does not publish your work anywhere else, and each platform has its own scope, editorial process and charges.

Which platform should I use for a research paper?

If your paper fits IJCRT’s multidisciplinary scope, submit to IJCRT — read the call for papers first. Broader platforms such as ijpublication.org, ijwave.org and researchwave.org exist for work that suits a different venue.

Which platform do I use for a book?

jwbook.org and jwpublication.org handle books — monographs, edited volumes, textbooks, conference proceedings and thesis-to-book projects, with ISBN handling and production.

What is jwdoi.org used for?

Crossref DOI registration and metadata deposit. A DOI gives an article a permanent, resolvable identifier and links its references across publishers. At IJCRT a Crossref DOI is optional and available on request.

Does a DOI mean my paper is indexed in Scopus?

No, and no DOI service can promise that. A DOI is a persistent identifier and a metadata deposit; selective databases such as Scopus and Web of Science run their own source selection.

What is jwscan.org and how is it different from a free plagiarism checker?

JWSCAN provides similarity checking through iThenticate by Turnitin, which searches subscription scholarly content from major publishers — where most undetected overlap actually sits. It returns the overall index and a source-by-source breakdown.

What are jwjms.org and jwcmt.org?

JWJMS is the journal management system that carries a manuscript from submission to decision with a full record. JWCMT is the conference management and tracking system organisers use for calls for papers, review, registration, scheduling and proceedings.

What is the difference between openrgate.org and orwave.org?

They are sister open-access platforms. OpenRGATE.org is the repository and journal-discovery platform; Open Research Wave is the open-access publication platform.

Where does IJCRT stand on UGC and UGC-CARE?

UGC and UGC-CARE approval, along with alignment with the latest UGC-CARE recommendations and guidelines. IJCRT is aligned with UGC’s Suggested Parameters for Choosing Peer-Reviewed Journals. IJCRT is a Transparent, Peer-Reviewed, Open Access Journal (Refereed Journal). Following the discontinuation of UGC and UGC-CARE journal listing alignment with the latest UGC-CARE recommendations and guidelines, IJCRT is aligned with UGC’s Suggested Parameters for Choosing Peer-Reviewed Journals.

How much does publication in IJCRT cost?

₹1501 for Indian authors and $59 USD for foreign authors per accepted article, payable only after acceptance. A Crossref DOI, printed certificates, hard copies and the transparent peer review report are optional extras.

Do I have to use the other platforms if I publish with IJCRT?

No. They are available, not compulsory. A DOI, a similarity report, a hard copy and a repository deposit are each optional, with their own published price.
