 Abstract

The liberalization of the Indian economy has dramatically and drastically influenced social life in India and scholars have commented extensively upon how the image of a New India brand has been created by media, corporate power houses and politicians based on the changes witnessed as a result of economic reformation. The creation of this New India brand accompanies the attempt to construct a new generation Indian subject who will play an integral role in narrating this new liberalized nation. Bhagats novels and protagonists are, in part, representative of the new generation Indian youth in more ways, as his novels center on the dynamics of metropolitan life and the influence of economic liberalization amongst this new generation Indian youth. The present research paper significantly sheds light on the new generation youth expressed and delineated through the dynamic characters in Five Point Someone.

 Abstract

Abstract: This paper attempts to throw lights on how disability is one of leading factor for poverty or why most of disabled person are poor from generations. Disability and poverty is flip side of coin. In this paper we are going to see key factors related to disability, how the vicious cycle of poverty related to disabled make then poor to poorer. Disabled are excluded by society in some or the other way and most serious part of this entire scenario is that there is no reliable data available which can prove and compare or can explain their indirect exclusion from society. Though government does its best at policy level and provisions to bring them above poverty line, but lot of things are yet to improve from mindset of society towards disabled persons to making concrete work to bring them in flow with non disabled person. Because depriving someone of something is nothing but denying. Disabled have to face many challenges, difficulties which most of them or not able to overcome, and they lead to their poverty.

 Abstract

Data confidentiality can be broken by powerful attackers by using cryptographic keys. This hacking can be done by coercion or backdoor in cryptographic software. if the encryption key is visible to the hacker then total data will be hacked so the only way to preserve the data confidentiality is to limit the attackers to access the cipher text. This may be done by using multiple administrative servers to share the cipher text so we can assume that the adversary cannot compromise all of them. If the data is encrypted by using the present method hackers can easily attack the data. So in this paper we are implementing data confidentiality against an adversary who knows the encryption key and accessing a large amount of cipher text. So we propose Bastion, which is very efficient and more guaranteed in data confidentiality. If the encryption key is visible to the adversary and he cannot access the whole data. Bastion is very secure and well suited for integration in the present system because it gives less than 5% overhead and also it implements secure encryption modes. We evaluated the performance of bastion by using prototype implementation.

 Abstract

The project presents a modern device for quality inspection of milk based on smart sensor technology. As milk is the major food for all the infants, it has to be monitored for the safety of the child. The main objective of the project is to bring out the product which determines the quality and the safety of milk for consumption. This project determines many parameters of milk by using smart sensor technology. Here, we consider parameters like temperature and pH to determine the quality of the milk. The Temperature sensor is used to determine the hotness or coldness of milk. The pH sensor is used to determine the pH of the milk. The nitrogen sensor is used to determine the protein content in the milk. The protein content can be used to determine the melamine is present in the milk or not. All these sensors are thus inbuilt inside the case and the output is thus shown with the help of monitoring displays (LED) externally.

 Abstract

The demand for advanced materials has been due to superior mechanical properties and high-quality surfaces in the engineering industry. To achieve high quality of surface finish, non-traditional finishing process can be used in place of traditional finishing methods. The magnetic abrasive finishing (MAF) process is an advance machining process to enhance the surface quality of certain materials such as ceramic, composites and hard alloy. The rate of surface finishing and quality through the MAF process depends on the varies parameter such voltage, current , ,magnetic field, abrasive quality and working gap etc. rise in temperature can also be a considerable factor during MAF process, because high rise in temperature can deform the surface microstructure and diffuse the abrasive particles. This review paper mainly focuses on the effects of process parameter and output parameter along with recent development and scope.

 Abstract

Infrastructure projects are classified into two types namely major infrastructure projects and mega infrastructure projects. This study analyses the time overrun and cost overrun in 30 mega infrastructure projects in India using the quarterly reports available at the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation web portal. These projects represent different sectors such as the road transport and highways, power, atomic energy, metro and urban development, petroleum and petrochemicals. Road projects are found to have largest amount of time and cost overruns. Most common causes of time and cost overruns are identified as delay in land acquisition, delay in forest clearance, law and order problems, general price escalation, high capital cost, poor performance of contractor and delay in the supply of equipment. The relation between time overrun and cost overrun is studied in different sectors.

 Abstract

The ever-increasing population has given a direction to the existing kind to follow up the idea of the sustainable development. Be that as it may, India treats just 20% of its sewage and rest fall straightforwardly into streams causing serious issues. The sewage treatment plant gives exact same opportunity to recycle the waste water and use it for future needs. This is a conventional kind of study. The main objective of the study was to monitor the physicochemical parameters in waste water. This research paper deals with the comparative study of two STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) located in Delawas, Jaipur and Delhi. From this comparative study we conclude that Delawas STP comprises of two stage limits each of 62.5 MLD (million litre per day and treat water efficiently but still lacks in efficiency compared to Delhi STP. But the results suggest, as there is development in technology there is a considerable improvement in treated wastewater over the time.

 Abstract

The manufacture of concrete using a thermosetting polymer instead of a fine aggregate(sand) known as modified concrete. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is the polymer used, recycling plastic bottles. PET is a material commonly used as a structural element, not as an aggregate. The research work find out that PET in the concrete produces good flexural strength, higher tenacity, light weight, good resistance. And it is found out that it is even economic than sand because sometimes availability of the sand is scarce.

 Abstract

The Indian peninsula is facing a severe drought, due to a combination of monsoon failure in the second half of 2018, sustained heatwaves between May and June, and underperforming rainfall in the first half of 2019. Majority of Indians are directly dependent on fresh water for their regular activities as well as industries. Tertiary water treatment plant helps in decreasing the demand of fresh water. This is conventional kind research. The main objective of the study is to analyse the advantages of tertiary water treatment plant. This research paper deals with the comparative study of Canadian tertiary water treatment process with Indian secondary water treatment process. From this comparative study we conclude that approximately 17% of population receives tertiary-level (or advanced) treatment in Canada while there is no tertiary process involved in India due to which we cant utilize water like Canada and decrease the water scarcity in India by using tertiary water treatment process.

 Abstract

Travel demand forecasting is that the premise of any urban or sub urban planning project. Forecasting models have become used for projecting future traffic and defines whether there's a requirement of recent road network or transit mode or land use policies. Modeling involves a series of mathematical models that just simulates human behavior. Modeling is completed by completing different processes and answering the series of questions on human behavior. Many attempts are being made to simulate all choices that traveler make in response to given system of highways. As no model is nice assumptions are to be made about decisions by traveler. the strategy of traffic modeling follows the steps as generation of trips in zones, moving through various nodes, through a network of links and ends at attracting zone. This modeling process is believed as Four step modeling. These four steps are as Follow-Trip Generation, Trip Distribution, Mode choice and traffic assignment. This paper deals with four step modeling within the context of Sitapura industrial area with the entire Jaipur city, Rajasthan

 Abstract

Human demand of timber is increasing day by day.Consquently ,thousands of trees is to be cut for construction of road and buildings every year which makes the land barren. Consequently the area becomes eroded .Over the last few decades the deforestation is the major cause to loss the land and scouring. cutting of trees are more hazard for soil in the vicinity of area and processing methods, which have put environmental and health hazards on the landscape. The test results revealed that rock materials can be used to block the holes of the river bank. protect the environment from the harmful effects of dumping rocks and plant more and more trees.

 Abstract

Pervious concrete is a special type of concrete mainly used in less load bearing areas to provide a passage to surface water to penetrate into ground and thus recharge the ground water table. Thus pervious concrete is a quite efficient product for rainwater harvesting. In addition to this, pervious concrete also reduces the surface runoff during floods hence, enhancing flood protection measures. The working principle of pervious concrete is the absence of fines, which creates interconnected voids between interlocked uniform sized aggregates. This creates a path for water to flow through it. Pervious concrete is traditionally used in footpaths, parking pavements, walkways in parks and society compounds. Primary objectives of pervious concrete are: Ground water recharge, Reduction to surface runoff, Flood protection Reduction of heat island effect

Intermediate-1 undergoes in reaction with Potassium carbonate and Methyl iodide and Dimethyl formamide (DMF) it gives 3-methyl (-2 methyl sulfanyl) quinazalin-4(3H) one as [2]. Intermediate-2 undergoes in reaction with Ethyl alcohol and hydrazine it gives 2- hydrazinyl 3-methyl quinazolin-4(3H) one as [3]. Intermediate-3 undergoes in cyclization process in the presence of EAA it gives 3-methyl-2-(3methyl-5-oxo-4,5-dihydro 1 H- pyrazol-1-yl) quinazolin -4 (3H)-one as final product and its derivative. The synthesized compounds were characterized by TLC, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, and mass spectroscopy.

 Abstract

Magnetic abrasive finishing is the advance-grade types of the machining process leading to micro/ nano finishing process. The process depends upon the magnetic field, abrasive particle, iron powder and working material. There are two type of magnetic field such as stationary and rotary field. Abrasive particle such as diamond, silica carbide and aluminium oxide can be used for MAF process. When we focus on the magnetic field then we find the stationary or rotating magnetic field, abrasive particle such as diamond, silicon carbide, aluminium oxide etc. and the working material are such as alloy based like stainless steel and its alloy, brass, aluminium and its alloy magnesium alloy and many others ,means its applicable for both ferrous and nonferrous material. The process magnetic abrasive finishing giving micro level finishing surface using unbounded abrasive particle working as the like flexible brushes and rubbing the workpiece material. in order to achieve the better finishing surface to attain the different process parameter like as, working gap between the setup and workpiece material, abrasive particle , iron powder ,machining oil ,rotational speed ,voltage ,surface roughness, material removal rate, supply ac/dc ,flux density , vibration, etc.In this review paper examined the working principle, process parameter, limitation future development is discussed.
