 Abstract

The disposal of Industrial Waste is becoming a very large problem and industrial waste is increasing day by day. Now It is necessity to use the steel slag waste through technical development in each field. Its disposal causing severe health and environmental hazards in road construction industries is gradually gaining significant importance in India considering the disposal, environmental problems and gradual depletion of natural resources like soil and aggregates The waste material which is a by-product during the manufacturing of steel from steel industries is Steel Slag. The quantity of generation is around 24 lacs MT per year from (Ref.Report.CRRI-2010) different steel industries in the India. Presently, it has no applications and dumped haphazardly on the costly land available near the plants. In this study, a typical steel slag was collected from an M/s Tata Steel industry Pvt. Ltd. Jaipur , (M.S) in India and its feasibility for use in different layers of road construction was investigated. To improve its Geotechnical engineering properties, the Steel Slag material was mechanically stabilized with locally available soil in the range of 5 25%. to investigate their suitability in the construction of different layers of road Technical specification Geotechnical parameters of these stabilized mixes were evaluated. Construction of embankment, sub grade and sub base layer of Flexible pavement can be done through steel slag.

 Abstract

The plastic wastes could be used in road construction and the field tests withstood the stress and proved that plastic wastes used after proper processing as an additive would enhance the life of the roads and also solve environmental problems. Plastic use in road construction is not new. It is already in use as PVC or HDPE pipe mat crossings built by cabling together PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or HDPE (high-density poly-ethylene) pipes to form plastic mats. Waste plastic is ground and made into powder; 3 to 4 % plastic is mixed with the bitumen. The durability of the roads laid out with shredded plastic waste is much more compared with roads with asphalt with the ordinary mix. The use of the innovative technology not only strengthened the road construction but also increased the road life as well as will help to improve the environment and also creating a source of income.

 Abstract

The study presented in this chapter shows that the fly ash can partially replace the sand in cement concretes. This type of fly concrete has lower density and manufacturing cost. it reduced coarse aggregate content and increases durability than those of cement concrete. The large production of fly ash in India ,which is more than 200 million tons per year at present which could increase to about 900 million tons per year over the next 20 years need application that consume far more quantities than todays applications allow .In this FA as substitute material (partial to total) for aggregate system (both fine and coarse) in concrete is attractive.

 Abstract

The main aim of this paper is to analyse the road accidents in Rajasthan state at divisional level. Analysis shows the distribution of road accidental deaths and injuries in Rajasthan. Moreover, road accidents are relatively higher in extreme weather and during working hours. Analysis of road accident scenario at division and districts level shows that there is a huge variation in fatality risk across. Fatality risk in 1divisionalout of 7 is higher than the all Rajasthan average. This paper present reviews on the road accident analysis in Rajasthan. In order to applaud the scale of the accident tragedy in the state, it is common exercise to relate the number of road accidents (deaths and injuries) in districts and division of Rajasthan.

 Abstract

The Study has been undertaken because Road safety is an issue of major importance in all countries. Studies focused on geometric design and safety focuses on the improvement of highway design and to eliminate hazardous locations. The relationship between accident rates and geometric design elements is complex and not fully understood. Relatively little information is available on relationships regarding this. In this paper, road geometric design elements and characteristics are taken into consideration, and explanations are given on which extent they affect highway safety. Although it's been clearly shown that geometric elements like very short sight distances or sharp horizontal curve leads to a considerably higher accident rates which certain combinations of elements causes severe accident problem. It compares the results of studies in several countries and summarizes current international knowledge of relationship between safety and therefore the principal non-intersection geometric design parameters. These relationships between road geometric design and safety are studied through results made in different countries. In general, there's broad international agreement on these relationships.

 Abstract

The indigenous Lepchas of Darjeeling and Sikkim Himalayas have endured a long history of conquest, subjugation and colonization under the Bhutias and the British. The deep valleys, dense forest, ranging rivers, biodiversity and commercial prospects impelled the rulers to establish domination over the highlands. 'The lord of the land' i.e the Lepchas were turn into 'inferior subject race'. The Lepchas are probably the only indigenous race in India who claim themselves to be the 'Children of God' and 'mother nature'. They have mongoloid morphological features and lived in the Himalayas on the southern and eastern slopes of Mount Kanchenjunga.

 Abstract

Abstract: The pectic substance is a complex colloidal acid polysaccharide with long galacturonic acid pillars, from a novel pectin-degrading bacterium that could otherwise be an agricultural waste product and that can be used for a variety of purposes. chains and glycosidic bonds. There are 7 polysaccharides and 17 monosaccharides such as d-glucuronic acid, 1-fucose, d-glucose, d-mannose and d-xylose in these pectin compound chains. Pectic acid, pectic acid, pectin, and protopectin are four pectin substances used as substrates for pectinase treatment. Although the solubility of pectic substances in water was one of the most relevant criteria used to determine that only 25% of microbial pectinase enzymes are used in the food and industrial sectors worldwide. , the market continued to grow. Pectinases are used in fruit extraction, fruit juice clarification, plant fiber refining, natural fiber degumming, and wastewater treatment. It also speeds up tea fermentation and eliminates foaming by destroying instant tea powder. Pectin in matcha. Not only is it used to brew coffee, but it is also used to remove the slime layer from coffee bars.A widely used eco-friendly tool to treat contamination, pectinase plays an important role in the treatment of industrial products plays. 16S rRNA sequence analysis was performed for molecular characterization. The 16S rRNA sequences were aligned and the constructed family tree confirmed that this strain belongs to Enterobacter hormaechei. This bacterium may play an important role in the degradation and bioremediation of vegetable and fruit wastes resulting from agricultural, industrial, and domestic activities.

 Abstract

English language teachers in recent years show a new determination to trust their own resources, to assert their right to freedom of choice at the interface between theory and practice and to seek practical solutions to pedagogic problems without constantly looking over their shoulders for fear that the theories might not approve. By judging the articles in professional journals and the papers presented at conferences, more and more teachers are breaking away from their former dependence on strict theoretical methods and are increasingly making their own, more flexible decisions about what should be done in the classroom. Before devising their own means useful for teaching English language, teachers should have an idea of the ends of teaching English language especially as the second language. Now a day's, English has been gaining greater importance for global communication. It is no longer just a library language of opportunities. A fairly high degree of proficiency and excellent communication skills in English today enhance students employability substantially. The best graduates with good communication skills in English compete successfully in the job market. However unemployment is a reality for many due to poor communication skills in English. Thus the main interest in this paper is to give a bird's eye view of the prestige of English language as an international language and its role in enhancing employability all over the world in different fields which will be helpful to the teachers and the students as well in the teaching and the learning of English language in Indian context.

 Abstract

Agriculture is the art and science of cultivating the soil, growing crops and raising livestock. It includes the preparation of plant and animal products for people to use and their distribution to markets. Agriculture provides most of the world's food and fabrics. Despite implementing plans to increase farmers' incomes, the government fails to bring profits to farmers as middlemen take a significant portion of their profits. Intermediaries specialize in performing essential activities in the buying and selling of goods on their way from farm to final consumer. They usually don't produce anything, but they have extensive knowledge of the market, so they charge commission for their services. It is a common belief that middlemen are responsible for the low share of farmers in the consumer's revenue, and they are accused of exploiting farmers. Many people suggest that the government should eliminate or minimize the role of middlemen in the marketing chain to increase the welfare of both consumers and producers. However, the role of middlemen as a link between producers and consumers is complex and requires a thorough analysis before drawing any conclusions. They mostly operate in markets and facilitate coordination between producers and consumers under different terms and conditions. In our country, village dealers, pre-harvest contractors (in fruits), commission men, brokers, wholesalers, retailers, etc. are all a part of this group.

 Abstract

The signing of the Indo-US nuclear pact can open a Pandora's Box of similar deals and accords in the area, which is already engaged in fast-paced proliferation attempts and is also the hot spot of contemporary war and power struggle. This study attempts to grasp the region's geopolitical environment, emphasizing the regional security mechanisms and the nature of the strategic partnership relationship. The Indian Prime Minister and the U.S. President, on July 18, 2005, issued a joint statement, which is considered to be the day when the process of reaching a nuclear agreement between them began. Following this, there was a great deal of discussion, both in India and the U.S., on the pros and cons of giving India a unique nuclear status and of India joining a camp that supports the U.S. This transaction has been interpreted as marking the start of a unique partnership between India and the U.S. Nevertheless, it took five years until the official launch of the first Indo-US strategic discussion, which took place in Washington in June of 2010. This event took place in 2010. Regrettably, over all of these years, the other aspects of this strategic connection did not receive much press, clearly described in July 2005. In this paper, an attempt is made to examine various nuclear aspects of Indo-US strategic relationship.

 Abstract

This is an effort to learn more about the role social media played in the 2019 Lok Sabha election campaigning in India. Those countries, such as the United States of America, India, and others, have democratic systems of government. Particularly in political campaigning during elections, social media has become a vital component of political communications. The improved campaign method at the same period is crucial for attracting voters. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, WhatsApp, YouTube, and other modern platforms provided by social media have given political parties and voters a modern platform. These platforms are now being used by most of the political leaders as an easy tool to connect with their supporters. In order to reach more voters and organise their interactions with them, social media enables aspirant politicians to share, post, and comment on election-related topics. These contemporary tools or platforms are presented as unexplored territory. First, to define social media. Next, to understand the essence of political campaigning. Third, to engage voters in the Lok Sabha elections of 2019 through social media and campaigning.

 Abstract

Typically, a wireless ad hoc network is an independent cluster of communicating peers that use unpredictable wireless back connections and do not rely on a centralized government or technology. More technically, an individual Area Network (PAN) is an informal network that links devices in close proximity, typically around a person or a specific item. It's known as a Wireless Personal Area Network at this point in time when IR or RF broadcasts are utilized to connect PAN members (WPAN). IEEE 802.15 WG has also established a Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN) signalization on the Bluetooth 1.1 definition (model 1.1). A WPAN's primary goal is to create a peer-to-peer network of wireless devices that surround an individual. Using Bluetooth R when the underlying WPAN technology has swarming capabilities and reduced power performance makes it ideal. This paper explains the history of Bluetooth R, as well as its particular details and nomenclature.

 Abstract

Background: Cirrhosis is a multi-organ disease that affects the kidneys, heart, arterial circulation, lungs, stomach, and brain, in addition to the liver. As a result, individuals may develop a range of issues, leading to many hospitalizations and high rates of morbidity and mortality. One of the goals of this study is to look at the status of nutrition among cirrhotic patients, as well as look into other factors that might be linked to malnutrition. Further, any possible links between nutrition and cirrhosis were investigated in order to better assess and manage individuals with cirrhosis and improve their outcomes. Aim: To investigate the indicators and risk factors associated with malnutrition in cirrhotic patients Subjects: A convenient sample of 60 adult male and female patients with a confirmed diagnosis of liver cirrhosis admitted to the Medical Hospital Cairo University. Results: This study shows that malnutrition indicators, anthropometric arm indicators and biochemical assessment can be useful techniques for assessing nutritional status in cirrhotic patients. According to the findings, various socio-demographic characteristics including age, gender, marital status, occupational status, etiology of liver cirrhosis have an important link with liver diseases, malnutrition in patients. Anthropometric measurements and biochemical parameters are in support of this. Conclusion: Dietary intervention in the form of nutrition assistance must be integrated in nursing care plan to help patients achieve better results. For this purpose, a better diagnosis, nursing care, and therapy of patients with varying degrees of malnutrition, a complete clinical examination, anthropometric measures, and objective biochemical tests are required.
