Abstract: The present study was designed to check the mechanical properties of conventional concrete and compare with 0.5% sisal fibre reinforced concrete. To determine the bond strength between sisal fibre rope and sisal fibre reinforced concrete. To determine the flexural strength of sisal fibre reinforced concrete beam with sisal fibre rope. In this research, sisal is being used in concrete. Short discrete vegetable fibres (sisal) was examined for its suitability for incorporation in cement concrete. Fibres were brushed, lined up and cut to obtain 1.5 cm length. The fibre diameter was observed to be average 0.1mm. Degree of workability of concrete mix with water cement ratio 0.45 had good workability with slump value 50mm, which is effective, was obtained. Materials were hand mixed with 0.5% addition of fibre in M30 mix design and casted in cubes and cylinders and small beams. The obtained specimens were subjected to tests aimed to check the compressive, tensile and flexural strength. The purpose of this research is based on the investigation of the use of sisal fibres in structural concrete to enhance the mechanical characteristics of concrete.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is not a new concept in India. However, what is new is the shift in focus from making profits to meeting societal challenges. CSR initiatives can contribute to reputational advantages such as increased trust in investors, new market opportunities and positive reactions of capital markets. Roberts and Dowling (2009) expressed that the value of a positive reputation is “precisely because the development of a good reputation takes considerable time, and depends on a firm making stable and consistent investments over time”. CSR pushed the managers to consider how best they could utilize this platform for addressing issues such as organizational actions, concern for society and the environment influence that might lead to the competitive advantage of firms. The term Globalization is used to refer specifically to economic globalization the integration of national economies into the international economy through trade, foreign direct Investment, capital flows, migration, and the spread of technology. However, globalization is usually recognized as being driven by a combination of economic, technological, socio-cultural, political, and biological factors. Globalization has changed Corporate Social Responsibility, the boundaries between domestic and foreign industry and between in-house and out-houses activities which had led corporate to view from both political and economic view. On one side multinational company have taken the role of state and thus they should behave responsibly and on the other hand they need to have corporate social behaviour in order to protect their image.

Nanoparticles have many characteristics that make them suitable for biological and medical applications. (Farthkooni et al., 2016). Nanotoxicology is a branch of bionanoscience which deals with the study and application of the toxicity of nanomaterials. (Buzea et al., 2007) Titanium dioxide nanoparticles can be used in paint production, cosmetics, ceramic production and numerous other applications like in water and sewage industries and many other industries because of its unique properties.( Mahdieh et al., 2015). A dose of 0.5 mg/cm2 and 2.0 mg/cm2was applied on 2 cm2 area of skin for 15 and 30 days. The result of present study indicate a significant hemoglobin levels, Hematocrit values, Total erythrocyte (RBC) and total leukocyte (WBC) counts, mean corpuscular volume (MCV), mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH) and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC).MCV, MCH and MCHC percentage increased inhigh dose group only at 30 days of treatment periodHemoglobin levels, hematocrit values, RBC and WBC decreased in high dose group only at 30 days of treatment period. Platelet count increased in high dose group for 30 days treatment period. Thus the result of the study suggest dermal administration of titanium dioxide nanoparticles have adverse effect on the hematological parameters of mice. And biochemical changes of liver Serum Glutamic Oxaloacetic Transaminase (SGOT), Serum Glutamate Pyruvate Transaminase (SGPT), and Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) increased in high dose group for 30 days treatment period.

Lampito mauritii is a native Earthworm species of India. It is widely distributed in Hyderabad- Karnataka region of Karnataka, India. A field survey was conducted in selected habitats viz., gutter, borewell, garbage, garden, nursery, pasture, irrigated and non- irrigated lands in six districts of H-K region. Lampito mauritii was collected by digging and hand sorting method from 25 different sites. Lampito mauritii was most commonly found in the gutter and bore well followed by Irrigated land, garbage and nursery. Availability of continuous moisture, optimum temperature, humidity and soil physicochemical characteristics has a great impact on the availability of Lampito mauritii in a particular habitat. This shows a remarkable species- habitat relationship.

Background and Objectives: The present study aimed to investigate the intentions and ways of university students spend their time on social media and to explore the purpose and significance of using these social networking sites due to the high level social media penetration in almost all walks academic life. Method: The sample consisted of students from two popular southern Indian metro city universities, viz., Bangalore and Madras University. Using survey method with a well-designed questionnaire consisting of 11close ended questions on social media usage among university students, 200 students were approached. The respondents in these lists were selected on the basis of their familiarity with the social media through purposive sampling. The percentage of usage on social media for different purposes were analysed using SPSS (V.20). Results: The major findings of the study are: when comparing to Madras university students, Bangalore university students are higher in social media usage for the leisure and personal socialization. Madras University students are more active on photos and videos; on their feedback for the post. It was further discovered from the study that the Bangalore University students were using social media for finding old and new friends more than Madras University students.

Monitoring and Management is the act of collecting and analysing data to determine the performance, health, and availability of your business application and the resources it depends on. An effective monitoring strategy will help you understand the detailed operation of the different components of your application and to increase your uptime by proactively notifying you of critical issues so that you can resolve them before they become problems. Cloud monitoring is primarily part of cloud security and management processes, and it is generally implemented through automated monitoring software that provides central access and control over cloud infrastructure. Cloud administrators can review the operational status and health of any cloud-based device or component. In addition to monitoring and ensuring cloud infrastructure/solution/service availability, cloud monitoring data also helps in evaluating the performance of the entire infrastructure on a modular level. Properties such as server uptime and response rate report can help in evaluating customer/user experience.

Abstract: The retrieval function is a standout amongst the most critical parts of an Information Retrieval (IR) framework, since it decides to what degree some data is applicable to a userquery. Most retrieval capacities have "free parameters" whose esteem must be set before retrieval, essentially influencing the viability of an IR framework. Picking the ideal esteems for such parameters is along these lines of foremost significance. Be that as it may, the ideal must be found after a computationally costly process, particularly when the speculation mistake is evaluated by means of cross-approval. In this paper, we propose to decide free parameter esteems by taking care of an improvement issue went for amplifying a measure of retrieval adequacy. We employ the black-box optimization paradigm, since the investigative articulation of the measure of viability concerning the free parameters is obscure. We consider distinctive strategies for taking care of the block boxoptimization issue: a basic network search over the entire area, and more complex systems, for example, line query and surrogate model based algorithms. Trial comes about on a few test accumulations give valuable understanding about viability, as well as about proficiency: they demonstrate that with proper optimization strategies, the computational cost of parameter improvement can be significantly lessened without trading off retrieval adequacy, notwithstanding when considering
