The aim of this study is to unveil the role played by Mampuram Syed Alavi in his book Saif al-Bathar in the Indian freedom struggle. This book was written in the first half of the nineteenth century. This book is the reason why the Mappilas of the Malabar region were directly involved in the Indian freedom struggle. This author and the Mappilas, who were inspired by the book, led an armed war against the British. Syed Alavi's residence and his village became the centre of the freedom struggle in Malabar. This book has a significant place in the Indian freedom struggle.

Attempt were made to apply Taguchi method to find out the best experimental condition to get high specific capacitance of synthesized carbon material. Taguchi method involves reducing the variation in a process through robust design of experiments. The overall objective of the method is to produce high product result in minimum steps. From capacitance studies done by cyclic voltammetry technique for carbon materials obtained from plant precursors like Castor seed (Ricinus communis), Ritha seed (Sapindus mukorossi) and Jackfruit seed (Artocarpus heterophyllus) shows that highest specific capacitance is obtained with carbon obtained from Jackfruit seeds. Taguchi optimization methodology predicted that carbonization of Jackfruit seeds at 900oC temperature for 4 hrs duration and treatment of carbon with 50 % KOH solution gives the carbon of best quality for maximum capacitance. It is also observed that, first major impactful parameter on the specific capacitance is the nature of the precursor and second is treatment with KOH; pyrolyzing time and temperature had very little impact.

Poetics is one of the fields of knowledge in which Indian scholarship has made significant contribution. But a feeling of regret arises when we find that Indian Poetics has not been properly appreciated by scholars. My goal in other words, is to show that art of reading poetry can be as fascinating and as creative as the art of writing, if we have our own critical tools . Rajagopal Parthasarathy, an Indo-Anglian poet says: Language is a tree, loses colour under another sky.(Rough Passage, 17-18) Thus the present paper is a modest attempt to apply the Dhvani theory of Indian Poetics on the selected canvas of English and Sanskrit Literature. The focus of the paper is to counter and correct the de-intellectualized mind by arguing for and developing applicational model from Indian Sanskrit literary theory of Dhvani to a wide variety of English texts.

Microorganisms, mainly fungi, are responsible for the biodegradation of various cellulosic materials, like cotton textiles, linen goods, paper and pulp products, rubberized articles, leather, rexine and plastic products, such as ropes, twines, water proof covers and many other articles used in defence services under tropical and sub-tropical conditions. Even the electronic components have not been spared from fungal damage. The damage caused by the attack of microorganisms on cellulosic materials is so enormous that the use of fungicides becomes inevitable. The present work deals with the effect of two potent fungicides- - m-Dinitro benzene and Pentachloro phenol on the growth of a highly cellulolytic fungus Aspergillus niger.

A firewall plays a significant role as a security device for the computer hardware and software; it protects the computer network from unauthorized access through filtration and blocking access from outsiders. It filters both unwanted traffic and also blocks any malicious software from attacking the computer system. There are different levels of protection provided by firewalls. On the other hand, the software-defined network plays a role in introducing significant granularity and visibility to the networking field. However, it is supposed to undergo some changes in network security to have its operation protected from unauthorized access and malicious attacks. Security changes that can be implemented in the software-defined network include protection of the Open Flow-based networks. Protection of the Open Flow-based network involves frequent changing of the network states and traffic. Protection of the network sites and traffic can be addressed by introducing the FLOWGUARD, a comprehensive framework required to facilitate right identification and provide adequate correction of the violations in Open Flow-based networks. The FLOWGUARD system acts by checking all network flow systems in the path spaces to determine whether there is any violation of the Firewall policy during updating of the network states. The system also performs an automatic solution to the violation of the Firewall policy. Implementation of the FLOWGUARD, including its efficacy and effectiveness in the provision of resolutions to Firewall violation and the various challenges that arise in using the Open Flow system, are discussed in this paper.

The universe was created by God and man & woman are the pillars of its existence and operation. These two forms of life have sustained the existence and continuity of this universe. This primal and basic relationship has its existence in variant and multiple forms and dimensions i.e. husband-wife relationship, brother-sister relationship, mother-son relationship, lover-beloved relationship and several others. Thus we have a wide spectrum of multi-dimensionality that defines and captures the total essence of this relationship.

While the Internet of Things (IoT) gains momentum in the tech industry, large amounts of wireless devices are developed, tracking a vast variety of infrastructure, which constantly optimizes data in different fields such as medical, transport and logistics, energy, agriculture intelligence, building automation, and data producing industries [1]. Big data techniques play a major role in IoT processes as instruments for l visualization to produce useful information in real-time and enable strategic decision-making. This paper includes an extensive analysis of how big data visualization is beneficial to the IoT approaches, software, and techniques. By examining the visual analytics, the paper places the data visualization within the visual analysis phase. It offers a study of different tools available for data visualization and analyzes guidelines for each of them, considering the specific circumstances of the individual use case. Although the big data methods are separated from each IoT area, the paper will explore visualization challenges and how big data shapes the IoT. To fully explore the topic, the paper requires literature reviews to establish its composition. While this paper does not show any findings, it provides a summary of what has been achieved to date in big data visualization in IoT and in-depth learning application in this field of science. The role of big data on IoT visualization will also be presented. It emphasizes illustrating the main concepts of Big Data visualization in real-time.

India and China, The two largest Developing countries in the world share a number of Interest, But since the formal establishment of diplomatic relations with peoples Republic of China in 1950, Indo-China relations have been rather voilate, lacking in confidence with unresolved issues hindering the relationship. The last six decades of India China relationship have seen more mutual mistrust and suspicion than friendliness and cordial atmosphere. Attempts have been made to bridge the differences. Both the Nations today have growing economics and their bi-lateral relationship to a great extent has assumed global and strategic relevance. If bilateral relationship has to improve then many domestic problems have to be solved in a coherent manner. There are many issues between China and India which still impact their relations like the border and the Tibet issues which are prominent issues. There are many positive and negative connotations of their bilateral relationship.

Fluid loss as low as 2% of complete body weight hinders temperature guideline and diminishes continuance limit and high-impact execution. More elevated levels of drying out weaken alertness, sharpness, strength and perseverance, physical work limit, and increment dangers for heat injury. The normal individual will just experience thirst after the body has lost 500 ml of liquid, or over 10% of the measure of water in blood plasma. A huge diminishing in execution results when fluid loss is equivalent to 1-2% of all the body weight. It is thus that competitors execute hydration methodologies that incorporate the utilization of proper liquids previously, during, and in the wake of practice or competition One of the most prevalent hydration methodology is consuming sports drinks.

Age- sex structure is one of the most important characteristics of population composition. Almost all population characteristics vary significantly with age. Age statistics form an important component of population analysis, as most of the analysis is based on age-sex structure of the population. The usefulness of age data is more noticeable when it is cross classified by variables like marital status, literacy educational attainment, economic activity which vary with age in different patterns. Apart from purely demographic concerns, the age- sex data structure is required for age specific analysis of data for planning, scientific, technical and commercial purposes. The dependency ratio, which is the ratio of economically active to economically inactive persons, is dependent on age composition. India has one of the largest proportions of population in the younger age groups in the world. 35.3% of the population of the country has been in the age group 0-14 years at the Census 2001. 41% of the population account for less than 18 years of age. Census 2001 data on marital status of persons show that out of over a billion population of the country, 513 million (49.8%) have reported ad Never married, mainly due to high proportion of young people. The Married constitute about 45.6% of the total population.

Abstract : Agriculture is the only means of living for almost two-thirds of the employed class in India. Indias already large population is expected to become the worlds largest in the next 20 years, while its economy will soon overtake Japans to become the worlds third largest. Agriculture plays a vital role in the Indian economy. Over 70 per cent of the rural households depend on agriculture. Agriculture is an important sector of Indian economy as it contributes about 17% to the total GDP and provides employment to over 60% of the population. Indian agriculture has registered impressive growth over last few decades. Agriculture is a critical sector of the Indian economy. Though its contribution to the overall Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the country has fallen from about 30 percent in 1990-91 to less than 15 percent in 2011-12, a trend that is expected in the development process of any economy, agriculture yet forms the backbone of development. The failure to achieve targeted growth in agriculture has resulted from the inadequacies of the provision of the critical public goods such as research and development, extension services, surface irrigation, rural infrastructure, etc. on which agricultural growth thrives as well as inappropriate policies. India, which is one of the largest agricultural-based economies, remained closed until the early 1990s. Agriculture is an important part of Indias economy and at present it is among the top two farm producers in the world. This sector provides approximately 52 percent of the total number of jobs available in India and contributes around 18.1 percent to the GDP. In order to achieve the targeted growth in 12th Plan, we need to address some of these inadequacies. The pricing of agricultural inputs such as irrigation, electricity for pumping water, fertilizer, etc. needs rationalization.

The purpose of the study was designed to examine the effect of circuit resistance training on selected physical fitness components such as shoulder strength and strength endurance. To achieve this purpose of the study fourty female students studying CBR National College of Law, Shivamogga Karnataka were selected as subjects were randomly selected as subjects. They were divided into two equal groups. Each group consisted of the twenty subjects. Group I underwent circuit resistance training for three days per week for twelve weeks. Group II acted as control who did not undergo any special training programme apart from their regular physical education programme. The following variables namely shoulder strength and strength endurance were selected as criterion variables. All the subjects of two groups were tested on selected dependent variables at prior to and immediately after the training programme. The analysis of covariance was used to analyze the significant difference, if any among the groups. The .05 level of confidence was fixed as the level of significance to test the F ratio obtained by the analysis of covariance, which was considered as an appropriate.
