 Abstract

E-learning plays a significant role in the present educational world today. It has potential to change the whole education system and due to this very reason e-learnings usefulness and application increased day by day among learners. E-learning attracts systematic methods through inter-related theories in technology, psychology and education to develop its bases, principles, and applications for higher education. The objective of incorporating e-learning in learning in higher education is to increase access and to improve academic achievement. This study evaluates the attitude of engineering students towards e-learning in Bijnor. 200 Engineering students studying at different engineering colleges of Bijnor city were formed the representative sample group for the study. Attitude Towards e-learning Scale by Dimpal Rani was used for data collection. The analysis of the data revealed that most of the engineering students studying in different engineering colleges of Bijnor City had average attitude towards e-learning. The study also revealed that Male and Female, Rural and Urban, engineering students did not differ significantly in their attitudes towards e- learning.

 Abstract

The present paper is an attempt to throw light on ancient Indian textile technology. Reference to the theme is found since the time of Indus Valley Civilization. Clothes were manufactured by dint of a few implements such as spindle whorls, spools, axle of spinning wheel, weaver's shuttle, needles, thimbles etc. A few archaeological sites have been discussed where evidence of cloth was found. On the basis of literary sources and foreign accounts the textile technology has been discussed. References to dress and costumes in general and cloth-cotton, silk and linen-in particular are available from early times. Foreign travellers have stated with hence surprise that the stitched clothes were worn by Indians.

 Abstract

Justice remains an esoteric concept inspite of the significantadvancements in legal literature and theory. Right Punitive approach is the fundamental & most conspicuous way to convince a society that Justice has been delivered to safeguard their faith in constitution and legal regime. Once retribution has been achieved, the convict becomes a delinquent child of the State in need of correction and reformation. The following paper, through various landmark judgments, explores how the Indian Judiciary has sought solution to this basic problem of law and if there exists any common principle of penology which echoes in the spirit of Indian Jurisprudence.

 Abstract

The losses from canals need to be minimized to ensure the efficient performance and effective utilization of water. The seepage loss from the unlined canals can be extremely large, even lined canal never seems to eliminate water loss through side and bottom, but by lining we can reduce the water loss. Seepage and evaporation loss are the major components of water loss from canals. In this project water loss is calculated between the Munak canal and Khubru Head by taking the data of the water discharged from Munak Canal and data of the water reached the final stage i.e., Khubru Head. There were total of seven distributaries and data of rainfall and evaporation were also taken into account while calculating the water and seepage losses.

 Abstract

Previously unsolvable cases are now solved easily with the development of the field of medical jurisprudence. It covers in its ambit the provision of evidence for a wide range and scope of cases. Medical certificates are a crucial piece of documentary evidence but are treated as opinions by the Court of laws. The following paper seeks to elucidate on the legal issues involved in using medical certificates as genuine pieces of evidence and how courts have over the years used them to reach conclusions to facilitate justice. We will also shed light on the legal pre-requisites for issuing medical certificates, issued by National and State Medical Councils. These legal guidelines are largely followed today, yet medical certificates continue to be treated as secondary pieces of evidence due to lack of a holistic statute on issuance of medical certificate.

 Abstract

This study focuses on speech recognition, augmented reality, and human-computer interaction to improve power equipment installation, operation, and maintenance. Gestures and head movements are the primary modes of interaction, while voice commands and touch serve as secondary modes. The integration of speech recognition, augmented reality (AR), and human-computer interaction (HCI) represents a cutting-edge approach to enhancing the installation, operation, and maintenance of power equipment. By leveraging these technologies, the study aims to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency. By combining these technologies, the study aims to create a comprehensive system that empowers operators and technicians to work more effectively with power equipment. The seamless integration of speech recognition, AR, and HCI not only enhances productivity but also improves the overall user experience, ultimately leading to better outcomes in terms of installation accuracy, operational efficiency, and maintenance effectiveness.

 Abstract

The Anglo-Manipur War of 1891 marked the close of an era and the beginning of a new one in the history of Manipur. The war brought to an end the era of sovereign Manipur and entered a new phase that she never experienced. The colonial rule of the British in Manipur lasted fifty-six years till 1947 AD. It was during this period that the administrative set up of Manipur was completely changed to suit the colonial ambition. However, their rule was also remarkable for a number of innovative works in the field of administration. Among them mention may be made of judicial administration. For the first time, it was during the British colonial rule that the court of Panchayats were established to give justice to the villagers. It was indeed a noble departure from the traditional judicial system. Earlier, Shinglup provided justice at the grass root level. In this paper the writers are attempting to highlight the chief features of Panchayat as a court and how it functioned. The paper also explores how such a system was introduced in Manipur to give justice to every section of the society at the grass root level.

 Abstract

The goal of inclusive education is to make schools more effective in general so that they can meet the needs of all students in terms of education. In India, the mandate of free and compulsory education for all children in India between the ages of 6 and 14 is linked to the idea of inclusion education. The right of children to free and mandatory education Act of 2009, the "no rejection policy" of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), and the acknowledgement of education as a basic right under Article 21A of the Indian Constitution are the driving forces behind this beneficial initiative. The majority of schools, especially schools in rural areas that do not have the resources to fully accommodate children with disabilities, find it challenging to provide the educational support needed for students with impairments. It is possible that implementing inclusive education may put more demands on teachers, possibly leading to stress. The availability of support systems, exposure to the finest inclusive practices, collaboration with coworkers and parents, and training that addresses administrative issues surrounding inclusive education are all seen as essential components of preparation on the part of the educator for inclusive education.

ABSTRACT - Data sharing is an important functionality in cloud storage. In this paper, we show how to securely, efficiently, and flexibly share data with others in cloud storage. We describe new public-key cryptosystems that produce constant-size ciphertexts such that efficient delegation of decryption rights for any set of ciphertexts are possible. The novelty is that one can aggregate any set of secret keys and make them as compact as a single key, but encompassing the power of all the keys being aggregated. In other words, the secret key holder can release a constant-size aggregate key for flexible choices of ciphertext set in cloud storage, but the other encrypted files outside the set remain confidential. This compact aggregate key can be conveniently sent to others or be stored in a smart card with very limited secure storage. We provide formal security analysis of our schemes in the standard model. We also describe other application of our schemes. In particular, our schemes give the first public-key patient-controlled encryption for flexible hierarchy, which was yet to be known.
