 Abstract

India is the land of philosophers, who influenced the world with their ideology. Vardhamana Mahaveera and Gauthama Buddha stand first in the list of philosophers who influenced the world. They are great and well renowned philosophers, who created great impact on society with their ideology of jainism and buddhism. Their ideologies are later followed by the people as religions. In the 12th century Basaveswara established veera shaiva ,a subsect of shaivism fold. It was a revolutionary way of shaivism which contradicted and changed most of the practices followed till then. His time period was shared by many great philosophers, statesmen across the world like Peter Abelard from France,Adelard of Bath from the United kingdom, Ioane Petritsi from Georgia.

 Abstract

This secondary data related study has been undertaken to study nature and magnitude of employment in Himachal Pradesh. As per National Sample Survey Organisation according to principal status 52 percent of rural males and 29 percent of rural females during 1999-2000 and 54 percent of rural males and 41 percent of rural females were available for employment. Urban male labour force participation rates are higher than the rural ones during both surveys. Fifty percent of males (urban as well as rural) were employed during 1999- 2000, and 52 percent of rural males and 62 percent of urban males were employed during 2004-20005. The proportion of rural women employed was 39 percent during 2004-2005 and 28 percent during 1999-2000. Urban females were less employed than the rural ones. According to 'all workers' among the rural males with graduate level of education the worker population ratio was 88 percent during 1999-2000, which decreased to 78 percent during 2004-2005, and it was 80 percent during 1999-2000 and 69 percent during 2004-2005 for urban males. Self-employment among rural female was higher (93 percent during 1999- 2000 and 91 percent during 2004-2005) than rural males (around sixty percent). Urban females were more self-employed than males during both years. The extent of regular employment for urban males and females is the same (59 percent during 1999-2000 and 39 percent during 2004-2005) according to usual principal status. Around 20 percent of rural males and 2 percent of rural females during 1999-2000 and 2004-2005 were in casual labour. Agriculture accounts for bulk of employment for rural females, as around 90 percent (higher than that for males). Construction is responsible for 18-19 percent of rural male employment and 12-22 percent of urban male employment. Services account for 54 percent of urban female employment during 1999-2000 and 41 percent during 2004-2005 (higher than that of urban male employment), according to usual principal status. As per 2001 Census, 51 percent of the total persons in rural areas and 37 percent in urban areas were engaged in any type of work one year preceding the enumeration.

 Abstract

The article will identify the recent advances and current challenges in fundamental understanding of the basic science, and it will explore the impact beyond the chemical sciences that these advances have had in the past. It will also explore the possibilities for such impact in the future, recognizing that such developments are frequently serendipitous. A key goal of the chemical sciences is the creation of molecules and materials that do not exist in nature. The ability to design and synthesize new substance offers the possibility of improvement on what is found in nature - with both accomplishments and future opportunities that range from life saving drugs to material that can help to make our lives safer and more pleasant. Chemistry has a key role to play in the area of analysis and structure determination which presents important and exciting needs, opportunities and challenges such as. detecting toxic or explosive materials in the environment detecting land mines and making chemical manufacturing processes environment friendly via real time control. Thus the Chemical Sciences have not only a great past but an even more exciting future.

 Abstract

: It demonstrates that the ensemble- based approach is significantly more effective than traditional single-model methods; supervised learning outperforms unsupervised learning, and increasing the cost of false negatives correlates to higher accuracy. It shows effectiveness over non sequence data. For sequence data, this dissertation proposes and tests an unsupervised, ensemble based learning algorithm that maintains a compressed dictionary of repetitive sequences found. Throughout dynamic data streams of unbounded length to identify anomalies. In unsupervised learning, compression-based techniques are used to model common behavior sequences. This results in a classifier exhibiting a substantial increase in classification accuracy for data streams containing insider threat anomalies. This ensemble of classifiers allows the unsupervised approach to outperform traditional static learning approaches and boosts the effectiveness over supervised learning approaches. One of the bottlenecks to construct compress dictionary is scalability. For this, an efficient solution is proposed and implemented using Hadoop and MapReduce framework. We could extend the work in the following directions. First, we will build a full fledge system to capture user input as stream using apache flume and store it on the Hadoop distributed file system (HDFS) and then apply our approaches. Next, we will apply MapReduce to calculate edit distance between patterns for a particular user's command sequence data.

 Abstract

1- ((3- methylphenyl) piperazine- 1- yl)- 3-(oxy- phenyl) propane is an anti- hypertensive drug. Antihypertensives are a class of drugs that are used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) including cardiovascular events. Antihypertensive therapy seeks to prevent the complications of high blood pressure, such as stroke and myocardial infarction. The structure and the ground state energy of the molecules are analysed using DFT/B3LYP level under investigation. The optimised geometry and their properties like frontier orbital energy, vibrational frequencies have been used to understand the activity of the compund. Highest Occupied Molecular Orbital or HOMO and the Lowest Unoccupied Molecular Orbital or LUMO energies are calculated which shows the charge transfer within the molecule. The virational spectra of IR and Raman have been plotted with the help of B3LYP level of theory with the 6- 31G basis set from the Density function theory.
