The biometric identi?cation systems is proposed for authentication and security purposes such as facial scanning techniques to improve accuracy and security. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence in recent years, facial recognition gives more attention. Compared with the traditional card recognition, fingerprint recognition and iris recognition, face recognition has many advantages, high concurrency, and user-friendly areas such as network security with the advancement of biometric authentication not only makes the hacker to virtually impossible to steal the password but also increases the user-friendliness in human computer-interaction. This report presents biometric Authentication using facial images by extracting texture-based LBP features stores these faces based on a matrix form. LBP-based face detection, the purpose of face detection is to determine the locations and sizes of human faces in digital images. LBP-based Face recognition, aims to identify or verify a person from a digital image or a video sequence. The system deals with webcam to capture the images of our face and we use OpenCV for loading and analysis of images. And finally, we use LBP Machine Learning algorithm and classification to detect or recognize the images of our face.

Abstract The present study was carried out in order to explore the possible molecular interionic interactions of potassium chloride in aqueous potassium sulphate solution at 308.15K. Experimental values of density (?) and ultrasonic velocities (U) were carried out on the liquid ternary mixtures of water + potassium sulphate + potassium chloride. The binary solvent mixture of water + potassium sulphate was prepared under molarity (M) basis. Potassium chloride was added under different molarities with these binary solvent mixtures. The related and relevant parameters correlated to our present study such as adiabatic compressibility, change and relative change in adiabatic compressibility, acoustic impedance (Z), relative association (R.A.) were determined. The present investigation has exploited the possible molecular associations such as ion-ion, ion- solvent, solute-solvent, solute-solute etc., which are identified and eventually discussed about the behavior of solute (potassiumchloride) in the solvent mixture.

An dry handwashing machine by fog disinfection is automated, easy to use , alcohol based hand sanitizer dispenser, which finds its use in hospitals, work places, offices, schools and much more. Alcohol can be used as an disinfectant when compared to liquid soap or solid soap, also it does not need water to wash off since it is volatile and evaporate instantly after contact to hands. It is also confirmed that a application of >70% alcohol can destroy Coronavirus in hands. Here an ultrasonic sensor senses the hand placed near it, the Arduino uno is used as a microcontroller, which sanity the distance and the result is the pump running to pump out the hand sanitizer

Liquid flow control is a vital requirement in many industrial processes. This essay compares the proportional derivative controller, the traditional PID controller, and the fuzzy logic controller for fluid flow. This study compares the performance of proportional derivative, conventional PID controllers, and fuzzy logic controllers using MATLAB. The comparison of various time domain parameters shows that the fuzzy logic controller performs more quickly and with less overshoot than PID and PD controllers. The most used control approach in industry is the PID controller. PID controllers' widespread use can be attributed in part to their dependable performance and in part to how straightforward their functional design is. The oscillating behaviour of the PID controller in this study harms the system. However, the fuzzy logic controller's response is free of these risky oscillations during the transient phase. As a result, the fuzzy logic controller is superior to the PID controller that is typically utilized.

Recent trend towards the use of plant based and natural products demands the replacement of synthetic additives with natural ones. All pharmaceutical dosage forms contain many additives in addition to the active ingredient to assist manufacturing and to obtain the desired therapeutic efficacy of the pharmaceutical active ingredients. There are number of synthetic polymers are available in market for pharmaceutical formulation, but these synthetic polymers have certain disadvantages such as high cost, toxicity, environmental pollution during synthesis, non-renewable sources, side effects, and poor patient compliance. Because of these disadvantages natural polymers such as natural gums and mucilage are preferred to semi synthetic and synthetic excipients because of the following advantages such as: low cost and natural origin, free from side effects, biocompatible and bio-acceptable, renewable source, environmental friendly processing, local availability etc. Natural gums and mucilages are available in nature freely. These natural gums and mucilages were successfully used in various dosage forms. The gums and mucilages obtained from natural sources are the complex polysaccharide which has many applications in the pharmaceutical industry and they also influence the rate and extent of drug release. This review discusses about the various natural sources of gums and mucilages, their advantages over synthetic polymers, applications in pharmaceutical industries.

Ferro cement is an alternative material for RCC with high performance and cost effectiveness. Prefabrication method saves engineering time in the construction. The use of prefabricated Ferro cement components for construction could possibly reduce the cost of construction and time for completion. In this study beams with size 0.4 x 0.25 x 1m at 5cm thickness along single wire mesh were cast and tested in laboratory and their break load capacity are studied. Ferro cement Hollow beams, Ferro cement Hollow beams in-filled with PCC, Ferro cement hollow beams in-filled with RCC, and normal RCC beams are tested and results were compared. The Ferro cement Hollow beams are preferable in low cost housing and have needful load carrying capacity.

When solar radiation reaches its peak value during the midday, building external wall absorb the highest amount of heat and result in dramatic increase in cooling load and energy consumption. This in turn affect the comfort of the inhabitants .This study is conducted with less energy consumption to flatten the energy peak, promote energy efficiency and preserve thermal comfort using Phase Change Materials (PCMs). Phase Change Materials (PCMs) are the materials that could initially resist the heat flow and beyond the fusion temperature it stores a large amount of energy in the form of heat at a constant temperature without any fluctuations or variations in the temperature. This property of the PCMs finds its usage in many fields conserving energy to a greater extent. The main consideration was made on the regulation of inner temperature fluctuations along with the maximum energy of solar radiation that could be stored and retrieved later. This project aims to analyse the thermal performance of PCM in building components (brick wall and double glass panel). Using ANSYS THERMAL software the comparisons are made in terms of heat flux and temperature variations in the building components with and without PCM. It is found that the building components with PCM materials are well behaved comparatively than ordinary building component.

Due to the lack of flat land in mountainous places, the bulk of structures are built on the slopes of the hills, with irregular structural layouts and foundations at various heights. Such structures have unique structural and building issues. Building on a sloped surface must contend with powerful earthquakes. The effects of step-like inclination geology on structures have not been thoroughly examined before. In contrast to slopes and ravines, this sort of surface geology has received little attention from scholars. The non-symmetric geometry of step-like inclines, which complicates explanatory layouts and generally permits site-specific numerical re-enactments, is one explanation that is feasible. The fundamental difficulty for the structural designers is the seismic failure of structures built on these sloping lands.

Abstract The paper examined the African States and the understanding of development and underdevelopment. With dependency theory, the paper noted that the nature and character of the State which was bequeathed by African colonialist, with poor development of productive forces, labour power, objects of labour and means of labour with corresponding poor social relations of production coupled with negative role of Africans, both leadership and followership after independence is central to the understanding of development and underdevelopment of States in Africa.. The paper recommended among other things, development of States, the leadership role of states in establishing the framework of economic strategy, and the collaboration between the States, state enterprises and commercial companies as a road to development. Corruption and bad governance must be drastically reduced if not completely eradicated through the installation of a visionary, honest and democratic leadership. This kind of leadership is achievable through free, fair and credible elections.
