Through this research work, I will examine the characteristics and standard tools of Satyagraha of Gandhi. Satyagraha has been described in a variety of ways. Some people have equated it with compromise and the way of the coward. That Satyagraha is very different from compromise can be gauged from the fact that although agreement or consensus is an essential ingredient of the goal of Gandhian Satyagraha, in the process the Satyagrahi is never prepared to yield any position which he holds to be the truth. What results from the dialectical process of conflict of opposing standpoints as acted upon by Satyagraha, is a synthesis, not a compromise. While Gandhian philosophy does not exclude compromise as device for accommodating different positions till such point where basic principles have not been challenged, it is qualitatively different from compromise. Ideally, compromise proceeds in a manner which admits to sacrificing some portion of an initially held position in exchange for a similar sacrifice on the part of an opponent.

Studies have shown significant associations between parenting practices, life satisfaction, and self-esteem, and the role of parenting practices in adolescent adjustment, emphasizing its influence on wellbeing. Objectives: To analyze the relationships between parenting practices, self-esteem, and life satisfaction, and test the mediating e ect of self-esteem on the relationship between the di erent parenting practices and life satisfaction of adolescents. Method: The sample came to a total of 742 adolescents, with an average age of 15.63 (SD = 1.24; range 1319). The Parenting Style Scale, the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, and the Satisfaction with Life Scale were used. Results: Perception by adolescents of high levels of a ect and communication, self-disclosure, and a sense of humor related to their parents, as well as low levels of psychological control, explained the life satisfaction of the adolescents. Self-esteem exerted a partial mediating e ect on the relationship between parenting practices and satisfaction with the life of the adolescent. Finally, self-esteem also appeared to be a moderator variable, specifically in the e ect of self-disclosure on the life satisfaction of the adolescent. Conclusions: The results reinforce the role of personal variables, especially self-esteem, in parent-child interaction and in the improved subjective wellbeing of the adolescent.

Drunk driving, or officially driving under the Influence (DUI) of alcohol, is a major cause of traffic accidents throughout the world. Drunk driving is the reason behind most of the deaths. In this paper, Proposed system aimed at early detection of alcohol consumed driver. Crashes caused by impairment of alertness in vehicle drivers pose a serious danger to people, not only to drivers themselves but also often to the general public. According to the report of U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), more than a million people have died in traffic crashes in the United States since 1966. During these tragedies, drunk driving is one of the main causes. Proposed Drunk and Drive Detection (DDD) system detects drunk driving in the vehicle itself. System constantly monitors the sensitivity of alcohol sensor for drunk driver detection. If driver is drunk, the processor instantly stops the system ignition by stopping the motor. This system can also be giving the location of the vehicle using GPS to the pre-programmed numbers by using GSM. We can use the system to control the accidents caused by the alcohol consumption. This system provides the effective development in auto mobiles industries by reducing accidents.

Ultrasound has been one of the most powerful techniques for imaging organs and soft tissue structure in the human body. It has been used for breast cancer detection because of its non-invasive, sensitive to dense breast, low positive rate and cheap cost. But due to the nature of ultrasound image, the image suffers from poor quality caused by speckle noise, low contrast and blurred edges. These make the automatic segmentation and classification of interested lesion difficult. One of the frequently used segmentation method is region growing method. A seed point is the starting point for region growing and its selection is very important for the segmentation and classification result. If this seed point is selected outside the region of interest, final segmentation and classification would be definitely incorrect. So, mostly the seed point is manually selected in order to avoid incorrect segmentation and classification. And also, most of the past works have concentrated only on automatic seed point location and segmentation of single lesion in U.S breast images. Proposing a method which was able to locate the seed point automatically within the multiple lesion regions by using the tan function, textural features of the lesion regions and Support Vector Machine and also able to automatically segment the lesion regions properly. Using this proposed method, able to located seed point within multiple lesion regions automatically. The results show that the proposed method was able to automatically locate the seed points within lesion region automatically for 98.42 % of images in our data set.

Although there are a number of reports on the effect of yoga training on blood pressure, very few studies have been undertaken on the effect of yoga training on respiratory pressures and handgrip endurance. Hence the present work was planned to study the effect of yoga training on hand grip strength (HGS), hand grip endurance (HGE), maximum expiratory pressure (MEP), maximum inspiratory pressure (MIP), systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP). 15 male students in the age group of 15 to 16 years were given yoga training (asans and pranayams) for 4 months. 15 male students of the same age group formed the control group. Yoga training produced statistically significant (P<0.05) increase in HGS, HGE, MEP, MIP, SBP and DBP after the yoga training. In contrast, the increase in these parameters in the control group was statistically insignificant. This study shows that yoga training for 4 months improves strength of inspiratory and expiratory muscles, skeletal muscles of arm and shoulder. Positive improvement was also observed in systolic and diastolic Blood Pressure. It is suggested that yoga should be introduced at school level in order to improve physiological functions, overall health and performance of students.

Realizing the importance of links and link analysis in search engine results, several link farms and Free for All sites have appeared that offer to provide links to your site. Web usage mining is the automatic discovery of user access patterns from Web servers. By Analyzing server's data we can capture behaviour and interests of user. By monitoring web user's browsing behaviour, we can discover reliable knowledge about user's general preferences and needs. Online advertising is a form of promotion that uses the Internet and World Wide Web for the purpose of delivering marketing messages to attract customers. Examples of online advertising include contextual ads on search engine results pages, banner ads, Rich Media Ads, Social network advertising, interstitial ads, online classified advertising, advertising networks and e-mail marketing. Every advertising model is based on the mutual requirements of content creators (online advertisers/web publishers), content aggregators and content consumers (users). Advertisers/web publishers invest heavily in advertising to market many products and services. Search engine acts as content aggregators and work for providing accurate and speedy information to its users. They work as potential source for providing content consumers to the content creators by luring users to use their search technology for informational needs. User plays an important role as they are the potential source of revenue for the search engine and the advertisers. Hence there is a cyclic dependency between the three components i.e. web-users, advertiser and Search engine. This Paper presents a new advertising model for commercialization of web, which performs customization of advertisements and customization of users, with that we are enable, relevant adds to be shown to relevant web users on user more interested web pages .

Self-concept has a topic of interest of many disciples. Self-concept is not an inherited quality rather it is formed as a result of an individual's experience and interaction with his environment. It is a well accepted fact that every human being is an individual with his own unique characteristics and ways of responding and behaving. The purpose of this study was to compare the self-concept of male physical education students and non-physical education students. The subjects of this study were fifty male college going students of Lucknow. Twenty-five subjects were physical education students (PES) and remaining twenty-five subjects were non-physical education students (NPES). The age of the subjects was ranging from 17 to 23 years. Self-concept of the subjects was gauged by using self concept questionnaire developed by Saraswat (1984). For the acquisition of the data of the recruited subject the investigator individually approached to the subjects and explained the purpose and direction related to answering the questionnaire, and after acquiring their consent the questionnaire was administered. The independent t test was used to find out the differences between male PES and NPES. Further the level of significance was set at 0.05 level of confidence. The results of the study clearly indicated that there was insignificant difference between male PES and NPES at 0.05 level of significance. On the basis of the results it is found that the selfconcept of college going students is same.
