Oral cancer, especially squamous cell carcinoma has been a leading type of cancer in North-east India. The high abundance of this cancer type is due to the indiscriminate use of tobacco and smoking. However, to study the exact mechanism of carcinogenesis and its progression, one needs a large amount of sample to analyze from the subjects. This particularly become problematic as there is scarcity of adequate human sample and the whole genesis cannot be studied at first. To address this problem, scientists are now using a very potent oral cancer forming agent known as 4-Nitroquinoline-1-oxide(4NQO) to produce oral cancer in mice test systems in vivo and study the pathway from developing stages to ultimate cancer form and the time needed for complete tumorigenesis. So, it is critical to know the nature of this carcinogen and its usability and hence this review provides a comprehensive knowledge about this water-soluble carcinogen and its mode of action along with some potential utilitarian perspective.

Innate behaviour of Openbill stork, Anastomus oscitans was studied in Palghar consecutive for three year from 2015 to 2017 where the birds are coming regularly for breeding purpose. Palghar is the newly carved district place of Maharashtra and very near to Mumbai. Observations were made in wild condition on different activities like preening, neck movement, flapping, fighting, movement, yawning, regurgitation and feeding. Preening and neck movement behaviour frequencies were highest and constituted about 70% of the total activities recorded. In this paper an attempt is being made to enumerate the innate activities of Openbill stork.

The engine performance improvement and exhaust emissions reduction are the two important factors which are considered to develop a more efficient engine with less impact on surroundings and nature. This work is based on the experimental study of Ethanol blends with gasoline as an alternative fuel in S.I engine. The experimental analysis will show better understanding by changing the different blends of ethanol with gasoline and various factors like BHP, total fuel consumption, brake thermal efficiency, air-fuel ratio, volumetric efficiency, heat balance calculations etc. Also, emission ratings of these blends will be evaluated. The blends used in this experiment are E10, E20, and Gasoline as well. The performance parameters will be evaluated at various loads 2kg, 5kg, and 10kg.

Indian economy touches the economy of the world. By doing so Indian markets expand their operations through different mode like joint venture, amalgamation and consolidation etc. At the same time many complexities arise due to growth in business trade. Many white-collar crimes and financial scandals in the beginning of the twenty-first century questioned the credibility of the financial structures. Due to these, a great demand of Forensic Accounting has been introduced for fraud prevention and detection. The main objective of the paper is to gauge financial scams and white collar crimes in India. This paper also examines the role of forensic accounting in minimizing such financial scandals. Forensic Accountants will also help the Government in the enforcement of regulatory requirements.

Society is web of relationships in which all men participate. Every society has certain issues and problems which it can minimize when proper provisions for its development are made. Technology is constantly developing and with its development the structure of society is also changing. Social and political revolutions are the other ways to change the society. When some people or a large group of people revolt against the existing Government and completely change the Governmental Organization it is political revolution. The advancement of technology has played a major role in the development and progress of human civilization.

Friction welding method is one of the most simple, economical and highly productive method in joining dissimilar materials. It is widely used in the automotive, medical and aerospace industrial applications. The purpose of this present work was to assess the development of solid state juncture of dissimilar materials of H30 aluminum and BS970 mild steel. The joints were obtained by Friction Welding (FW) process, which combines the heat generated from friction between two surfaces. The results were analysed by means of tensile, Rockwell hardness test and metallographic tests. Solid state welding processes are characterized by the absence of melting and the formation of narrow heat affected zone (HAZ). The metallurgical properties are usually excellent and most of the processes can be mechanized or automated to be used as high production rate processes. The FW proves to be a great method for obtaining junctures between dissimilar materials which is not possible by fusion welding process.

Abstract: Atherosclerosis is the hardening of the arteries due to plaque formation. Oxidative stress and inflammation are involved in the initiation and propagation of atherosclerosis, mainly through oxidative modification of low density lipoprotein. Reactive oxygen or nitrogen species are released by NAD(P)H oxidase, nitric oxide synthase, xanthine oxidase, lypoxygenase or myeloperoxidase. Body has antioxidants defense system (enzymatic and non enzymatic) for the prevention of accumulation of free radicals. Imbalance between oxidants and antioxidants results in oxidative modification in the arterial wall leading to atherosclerosis. This review focuses on the participation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), reactive nitrogen species (RNS) and inflammation in atherosclerosis.

Self-compacting concrete is a fluid mixture suitable for placing in structures with congested reinforcement without vibration. Self-compacting concrete development must ensure a good balance between deformability and stability. Also, compatibility is affected by the characteristics of materials and the mix proportions; it becomes necessary to evolve a procedure for mix design of SCC. The paper presents an experimental procedure for the design of self- compacting concrete mixes. The test results for acceptance characteristics of self-compacting concrete such as slump flow, V-funnel and L-Box are presented. Further, compressive strength at the ages of 28, 56, and 90 days was also determined and results are included here.

The Present study was aimed to estimate and investigate some physico-chemical parameters of Wular Lake of Kashmir, India. During the present study six water samples from four accessible areas of Wular Lake were collected and analyzed for the physicochemical properties. Analysis showed a great variation in water quality among the different basins. The incoming flow channel i.e., river Jhelum and the entire catchment are having deteriorated water qualities and possible reason for this could be the increasing eutrophication resulting from agricultural practices in the nearby catchment area or tourism activity.

One of the challenging problems in the steel rolling industry is the distribution of the heat flux across the geometry of the rolled plate under the cooling effect of water jet. Thus, the present work focuses on the heat transfer phenomenon of the steel rolled plate. The results obtained by the simulation studies indicate that wherein the nozzle of the jet is inclined at an angle more heat flux can be generated but the variation of the microstructure is not uniform across the width due to the impingement angle. Thus, maximum turbulence is observed at 450 jet angle. The results also indicated that the heat transfer coefficients are nonlinear functions of surface temperature. At the stagnation point, the surface temperature and heat transfer coefficient are not effected by the temperature of the cooling medium i.e., impingement of jet of water.

With the instigation of Ad-blocking, online publishers seeking the standpoint of revenue blockage, since they rely on digital advertisements for revenues, but Ad- blocking prevents the ads, adopting sponsored content and native advertising which support internet content. Ad blockers could also push up the price of anything subsidized by advertising. For example, Fandango.com imposes a service charge on the sale of movie tickets through its site but also carries advertising in order to supplement revenue. If the site is no longer able to monetize its ad space, it would likely raise ticket prices on consumers to make up for the lost profit. This can apply to thousands of businesses across the Internet.
