This study examines the influence of digital habits on mental health among college students, emphasizing the mediating role of sleep patterns. A total of 200 students (Male = 90, Female = 110) participated in the study. Standardized instruments assessed digital behavior and psychological well-being (Cronbach's ? = .773 and .872, respectively). Findings revealed a significant correlation between digital behavior and mental health (r = .789, p < .001). ANOVA results indicated significant differences in daily data usage, online gaming, and device use across gender. Regression analysis identified digital behavior as the strongest predictor of mental health (? = .707, p < .001), followed by gender, study hours, and sleep patterns. Mediation analysis further revealed that sleep patterns partially mediated this relationship (Indirect effect = 0.0317, p < .001). The study highlights that poor digital hygiene and irregular sleep can negatively impact students' mental health, emphasizing the importance of promoting balanced technology use and healthy sleep routines.

Human beings are thoughtful and social by nature, and education plays a vital role in developing their abilities and shaping society. Every nation designs its education system according to its needs and ideals, aiming to build responsible citizens and preserve culture. Education has always been essential for human development and societal progress. The present study focuses on examining the relationship between school attitude and academic achievement among secondary school students. A sample of 100 students (50 boys and 50 girls) was selected. The survey method was used, and tools like a school attitude scale and students' academic scores were applied for data collection. The study highlights that students' attitudes toward school significantly influence their academic performance and overall development. Positive school attitude helps students adjust better, solve problems effectively, and achieve success in both academic and personal life. Therefore, developing a positive attitude toward education is essential for students' growth and for the progress of society and the nation.

The stock market plays a crucial role in economic development by mobilizing savings and providing opportunities for wealth creation. Youth represent a significant segment of potential investors; however, their participation in stock market investments remains limited due to lack of awareness, fear of risk, and insufficient financial knowledge. This study examines the level of awareness and perception of youth toward stock market investments in the Thrikkakara area of Kochi. Primary data were collected from 50 respondents using a structured questionnaire through convenience sampling. Percentage analysis was used for data interpretation. The findings reveal that although youth show a positive attitude toward equity investments, factors such as fear of loss and lack of proper guidance restrict active participation. The study highlights the need for structured financial education to promote informed investment decisions among youth.

Advertising has changed a lot over time. In the past, advertisements mostly focused on promoting a product and explaining its features. Today, brands try to make their ads more interesting and emotionally engaging so that people feel connected to them. One popular method used in modern advertising is storytelling. Through simple and relatable stories, brands share their message in a way that audiences can easily understand and remember. In the FMCG sector, brands like Surf Excel, Amul, and Dove often use emotional and meaningful stories in their advertisements to connect better with consumers. This study looks at how storytelling in FMCG advertisements affects the perception of young people in Mumbai. For this research, a quantitative method was used, and data were collected from 120 respondents between the ages of 18 and 35 through an online questionnaire. The results show that storytelling makes advertisements more engaging and easier to remember. Many respondents felt that ads with emotional stories and relatable characters are more interesting than traditional ads that only talk about the product, and they also help create a more positive image of the brand.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is gradually becoming an important part of many professional fields, including the legal system. In recent years, courts and legal institutions have started using AI-based tools to support legal research, manage case records, and improve the overall efficiency of judicial processes. This research paper focuses on understanding how Artificial Intelligence is being used in the legal system and its impact on justice delivery. The main objective of this study is to examine the role of AI in assisting legal professionals such as judges and lawyers in their daily work. The study also aims to identify the advantages of using AI in the legal field, such as saving time, reducing workload, and improving access to legal information. Along with these benefits, the paper highlights challenges such as data privacy issues, lack of transparency, and the possibility of bias in automated systems. The research methodology adopted in this paper is descriptive in nature and is based on secondary data collected from books, research articles, legal journals, government reports, and reliable online sources. Examples of AI tools used in Indian courts and legal research platforms have been considered to understand the practical use of AI in the legal system. The findings suggest that AI can help improve the efficiency of legal processes by supporting legal research, document analysis, and case management. AI tools may assist in reducing delays and handling pending cases, but they cannot replace human judgment, especially in sensitive matters involving ethics and fairness. The study concludes that Artificial Intelligence should be used as a supportive tool rather than a substitute for human decision-making. Proper regulation, ethical guidelines, and human supervision are necessary to ensure responsible use of AI in the legal system.

This study examines consumer purchase behaviour toward watches by analysing the influence of general purchase behaviour, offline shopping experience, factors influencing watch purchase, and purchase behaviour factors. Using primary data collected from 56 respondents, the research employs descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis to assess the explanatory power of these variables on watch-buying frequency. The findings reveal that while certain factors demonstrate weak associations, most predictors fail to significantly explain purchase frequency, highlighting the symbolic and emotionally driven nature of watch purchases in the Indian context.`

Diabetes mellitus is a major health issue affecting millions of people worldwide which has been viewed as a hereditary and metabolic disorder. Sedentary behaviour, irregular and suboptimal dietary patterns, chronic psychological stress, and obesity have been notified as large contributors to the increasing prevalence of this condition globally. These factors constitute major threat factors driving the global increase in diabetes prevalence. This paper examines diabetes mellitus as a lifestyle-related disorder with particular emphasis on current epidemiological trends and identifying key behavioural and nutritional risk factors. Additionally, obesity is widely identified as a major risk factor for type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) is discussed in association to contemporary lifestyle patterns because of urbanisation and emerging psychosocial patterns which influences health behaviour. The paper shed lights on the management and prevention strategies emphasizing lifestyle changes. In addition to medication, healthy eating, regular physical activities, weight management, and stress reduction are some significant approaches to prevent and manage diabetes. Functional foods such as whole grains, fibre rich foods, antioxidants, and bioactive compounds are considered for their benefits in improving blood sugar control and overall metabolic health. The findings suggest that consistent healthy lifestyle modifications can considerably reduce the risk of developing diabetes. In several cases, proper and dietary management including active physical activity can postpone the onset of the disease, enlarge quality of life, and reduce the dependence on medication. This paper concludes that diabetes should be regarded not only as a medical condition but also as a lifestyle-related disorder that can be effectively managed through a balanced diet, regular physical activity, stress reduction, and the maintenance of an overall health-conscious lifestyle in the contemporary context.

This research paper brings out instances of magical realism in one of the most famous Sanskrit dramas of Kalidasa, ' Abhigyana Shakuntalam'. Magical realism is a genre of literature which fuses magical elements and realistic elements in an earthly, everyday mundane setting. The significance of this paper is that even though magical realism, as a genre was developed in the 1940s at the hands of American writers, yet the instances of magical realism can be seen in the plays of Kalidasa, who was a great dramatist of the 5th century ancient India. His 'Abhigyana Shakuntalam' is considered as a masterpiece of Sanskrit drama and was among the first works translated into English. It has been adapted into movies in various languages like English, Telugu, Hindi, Marathi and Tamil. The drama has many mythical, supernatural and magical realistic elements which the research paper attempts to bring out in detail.

The present study investigated how these shifting modes of learning-from a physical classroom to hybrid and completely online-influence the level of perceived stress and group dynamics among students at institutions of higher education. Educational institutions are shifting toward flexible models of learning, and it is imperative that the psychological and social repercussions of such a shift are recognized. The quantitative design was followed, in which data from 250 students spanning most areas of academic disciplines were collected through standardized instruments like PSS, along with structured social interaction surveys. The results pointed out statistically significant alterations in the level of stress and patterns of social interaction across different learning modes. The findings indicated that traditional learning environments had more frequency of interaction and perceived social support, hence less stress. On one hand, hybrid learning offers moderate amounts of support but shows inconsistencies at the same time, which may influence students' sense of stability. Fully online learning, while giving convenience and flexibility, shows high levels of perceived stress at the same time, with low levels of peer interaction and bonding among peers. From the results, one can gauge that reduced face-to-face communication, fewer collaborative opportunities, and technological fatigue together drive the academic experiences of the students. It points to the fact that, as the institutions progress with scaling online learning, they should do so simultaneously by bringing into alignment comprehensive supportive mechanisms, ensuring good mental health and positive social interactions. Such skills of virtual peer-to-peer collaboration can be developed, psychological support services provided, and the online learning environment designed in a manner that can assure its being socially lively so as to lessen the levels of stress while enhancing group cohesion. Being more inclusive toward holistic student support is the means whereby educators will ensure learning is effective, inclusive, and psychosocially sustainable across all formats

Consumer satisfaction has emerged as a critical determinant of success in the rapidly evolving retail landscape, where online and offline shopping modes coexist and increasingly overlap. The growing adoption of digital technologies, coupled with the continued relevance of physical retail formats, has reshaped consumer expectations, purchasing behavior, and evaluation criteria. This study presents a systematic review of existing literature on consumer satisfaction in online and offline shopping with the objective of identifying key trends, dominant determinants, and comparative insights across both channels. The review synthesizes findings from prior empirical and conceptual studies to examine how factors such as price and perceived value, product quality and variety, convenience, service quality, trust, security, and after-sales service influence consumer satisfaction in different shopping contexts. The analysis reveals that while online shopping is primarily driven by convenience, accessibility, and informational efficiency, offline shopping continues to offer superior experiential value, trust, and immediate gratification. Furthermore, the findings indicate a growing shift toward hybrid and omnichannel shopping behavior, where consumers strategically combine online and offline experiences to optimize satisfaction. By consolidating fragmented research, this review contributes to a holistic understanding of consumer satisfaction dynamics and provides valuable implications for retailers, marketers, and researchers seeking to enhance consumer-centric strategies in an increasingly competitive and integrated retail environment.

The Government of India launched the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in 2019 under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, aiming to strengthen the implementation of rural water supply programs. The mission has facilitated the provision of Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTCs) to rural households, enabling them to obtain safe and adequate drinking water directly at their homes. The Jal Jeevan Mission has significantly improved rural drinking water access in Himachal Pradesh, making the state one of the top performers in the country. The state has recorded 99.9 per cent household tap water coverage, surpassing the national average, and most districts have achieved complete coverage with efficient functionality, regular supply, adequate quantity, and good water quality. The present study examines the year-wise progress of household tap water coverage, analyses the district-wise performance, evaluates the level of awareness and investigates the socio-economic impact of the Jal Jeevan Mission on rural households of Himachal Pradesh. Both primary and secondary data sources were used in the study. A multistage area sampling technique was adopted for selecting the respondents. The collected data were analysed using descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analysis. The study found that the Jal Jeevan Mission has achieved nearly universal coverage of functional household tap connections, though a few districts still face challenges due to geographical constraints, limited water resources, and infrastructural limitations. The findings also highlight that while water quality compliance remains high across most districts, irregular water supply persists in some areas due to mountainous geography, limited water sources, and old water infrastructure, along with seasonal variations and heavy water demand in city areas. Moreover, certain challenges remain, including the need to ensure sustainable water sources, address seasonal water shortages, and improve the operation and maintenance of village-level water supply systems. The study recommended that strengthening awareness initiatives and addressing district-level infrastructural challenges can further enhance the long-term socio-economic benefits of the Jal Jeevan Mission in Himachal Pradesh.

In the digital era, the process of selecting and prioritizing information is more and more not made by human editors but by algorithmic systems. Algorithmic gatekeeping involves the automated filtering, ranking, and recommendation of various content from digital platforms such as social media, search engines, and streaming services. These systems use insight into user profiles and behaviour to decide what is shown and what is concealed. Algorithmic gatekeeping is a new form of media power. Traditional gatekeepers journalists, editors, and broadcasters used to make explicit editorial decisions under the guidance of professional norms and institutional expectations. On the other hand, algorithmic gatekeeping is continuous, on a massive scale, and usually not disclosed. Their ultimate goal is often to optimize engagement metrics, influencing what content gets circulated in the public sphere. This paper studies the historical and theoretical bases on which algorithmic gatekeeping is built. In so doing, the paper identifies the theoretical underpinnings of algorithmic gatekeeping as a form of infrastructure invisibility in operating public awareness, social knowledge, and collective attention.

In a prosperous society people should be allowed to live freely and empower lives without getting tied down by any boundaries. From the very beginning when production system started its new journey automatically class struggle accompanied with it in it's new way. Now-a-days class struggle is everywhere. When there was slavery system class struggle was between slave owners and slaves, in a feudal system there was class struggle between land owners and serfs, in a capitalist society it is between bourgeois and proletariate. In a capitalist society upper class people always exploit lower class people. They often suppressed and oppressed their workers as well. This approach is very clear in Charles Dickens novel Hard Times. Mr. Bounderby who is a manufacturer, banker and merchant called his workers 'hand'. Lower class people worked all the day with their hands only. Hand is the main source of their livelihood. The individual identities of the workers were replaced by the single word 'hand.'
