The steady increase in population and overcrowding has become an unavoidable factor in any public gathering or on the street during any festive occasions. The development in technology has made monitoring smart and methods of tracking humans has advanced. In order to provide an aid to this problem, our project is proposing to provide technical support to manage the crowd by detecting humans and keeping in track the count of the people in the scene. In our study, we develop a system using Raspberry Pi 3 board that consists of ARMv8 CPU that detects the human heads and provide a count of humans in the region using OpenCV-Python. A Haar cascade classifier is trained for human head detection. Human tracking is achieved by indicating the direction of movement of the person. The results of the analysis will be helpful in managing the crowd in any area with high density of crowds.

Current Cloud Computing is primarily based on proprietary data centres, where hundreds of thousands of dedicated servers are setup to host the cloud services. In addition to the huge number of dedicated servers deployed in data centres, there are billions of underutilized Personal Computers (PCs), usually used only for a few hours per day, owned by individuals and organizations worldwide. The vast untapped compute and storage capacities of the under- utilized PCs can be consolidated as alternative cloud fabrics to provision broad cloud services, primarily infrastructure as a service. This approach, thus referred to as no data centre approach, complements the data centre based cloud provision model. In this paper, we discuss our opportunistic Cloud Computing system, called ADK that runs on scavenged resources of underutilized PCs within an organization/community- namely our college. Our system tries to identify that the no data centre solution indeed works.

In this study, work has been carried out to investigate tensile, hardness and impact properties of composite of material constitutes sugarcane bagasse powder and epoxy resin. These composite are adhered using epoxy resin HY951 resin and LY551 hardener suitably mixed in appropriate volume. Hybrid composites were prepared using sugarcane bagasse powder, while overall powder weight fraction was fixed as 20gram. Here for preparing samples Hand layup method is used, specimens are prepared. This constitute have good tensile & bending strength & their density. These composites can be used in various purposes because of its unique features of waste utilization, environment friendly, bio-degradability, good strength and a good alternative to plastics.

The main objective of seismic engineering is to design the buildings to resist the force generated from ground motion in a safe manner, which prevents the total damage of the building. When the earthquake motion occurs, it was observed that the structure may not totally collapse, but there is a damage level to structures, economic loss because of inability of the building function, and the cost of repair were unpredictably high. Existing seismic codes are forced based controlled design, using the base shear concept. The need for changes in the existing seismic design methodology existing in seismic codes has been widely recognized. One of the major developments in seismic design over the past 10 years has been increased emphasis on limit states design, now generally termed Performance Based Seismic Design (PBSD). Performance based seismic design is aimed at controlling the structural damage based on precise estimations of proper response of the structure using nonlinear analysis in seismic design. This paper discusses seismic capacity of structure to resist earthquake force for moment resisting frames with medium ductility class using (PBSD) by the capacity spectrum method and obtaining the performance factor (P-Factor) for different levels of damage that can be used in seismic design instead of response modification factor (R-Factor) to overcome the limitation in response modification factor and to represent real performance of the structure.

Abstract Upliftment of all is the priority of any democratic state like India. Sarvodaya Movement means a way to make an ideal society with equality, justice and freedom for all. The concept of Sarvodaya was first advocated by Gandhiji in 1908 as the title of his Gujrati translation of John Ruskins Unto this Last. Today, Sarvodaya has become a synonym for Gandhian thought. The literary meaning of Sarvodaya is the welfare of all. Sarvodaya is an ideal as well as a movement to uplift all. It is considered as an Indian solution to World problems, Gandhian panacea for socio-economic evils. As the ardent follower of Gandhi, JP and Vinoba Bhave started to practice Sarvodaya in action for making a Sarvodaya Society in India. To make the Indian Nation based on equality, justice and freedom for all, Vinoba launched the Bhoodan Movement to help landless poor and JP left the Socialist Party to support Vinobas movement in 1954. It is said that take the name of Vinoba and all the rest is said about Sarvodaya. Samya-yoga is another name for Sarvodaya has come to Vinoba profoundly. He breathes and lives in the spirit of Samya-yoga to bring a progressive change in society. In the Post-Independence India, both Vinoba and JP devoted themselves to Sarvodaya to reconstruct India for the progress of all, especially for the downtrodden people. This study will focus on the contributions of Vinoba and JP for the Sarvodaya Movement after M.K Gandhi to establish Peoples Socialism against power politics. JPs Total Revolution was an active step to bring a positive social change in India.

Traf?c accidents are particularly serious on a rainy day, a dark night, an overcast and/or rainy night, a foggy day, and many other times with low visibility conditions. Present vision driver assistance systems are designed to perform under good-natured weather conditions . Classi?cation is a methodology to identify the type of optical characteristics for vision enhancement algorithms to make them more ef?cient. To improve machine vision in bad weather situations , a multi-class weather classi?cation method is presented based on multiple weather features and supervised learning. First, underlying visual features are extracted from multi-traf?c scene images, and then the feature was expressed as an eight-dimensions feature matrix. Second, two supervised learning algorithms are used to train classi?ers. The analysis shows that extracted features can accurately describe the image semantics , and the classi?ers have high recognition accuracy rate and adaptive ability. The proposed method provides the basis for further enhancing the detection of anterior vehicle detection during night time illumination changes, as well as enhancing the drivers ?eld of vision on a foggy day.

Since the wheel was invented back in the Stone Age, it was the primary component used in all forms of mechanical transportation. Even today it is the component of choice for almost any type of moving machine like cars. However, the wheel has always had a major disadvantage with short instant elevation changes like stairs. For most uses, climbing stairs or steep jagged rock piles is not a problem which is why the wheel is still almost always used. For the other applications, people looked at animal and human legs which are already proven to work effectively on this type of terrain. The two most effective leg mechanisms are currently Joe Klanns mechanism which resembles a spider leg and Theo Jansens mechanism which resembles a human leg. We have chosen Joe Klann mechanism which has more advantage than Jansen mechanism. The main objective of our paper is to replace the function of wheel with an alternative in order to overcome the difficulty of travelling in uneven terrain. This paper is useful in hazardous material handling, clearing minefields or secures an area without putting anyone at risk.

Petals of Blood depicts the disparity, hypocrisy and infidelity of elite classes towards the poor peasants and the workers in post-independence Kenya. The work is a derogatory condemnation of corruption and gluttony of Kenya's political, economic and social elite, who even after regaining independence are perpetuating the social injustice and economic inequity, the very features of colonial repression. The novel is a bitter critique of the economic system of capitalism and its destructive, alienating effects on conventional Kenyan civilization.

Today teachers in higher learning institutions are provided with a broad range of new teaching experience through web based approaches to teaching and learning which is not possible before through the traditional approach to the classroom. Now higher education students wants web based learning online studies. The present study is an attempt in this direction to study on Usage of the web-based learning by undergraduate students of The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. The survey method was used to collect the data. The prepared questionnaires were distributed to undergraduate students who were studying in The Maharaja Sayajirao university of Baroda, Vadodara. From the findings of the feasibility study, it was understood that undergraduate students using the computer and internet for their educational purpose. Findings of the study revealed that the main reasons for using the internet were educational. A wide variety of usage of computer and internet was found among undergraduate students from being on paying fees, to collect study material, Use of plagiarism checker to reduce and so on.
