Real photographs frequently contain complex blur, such as the combination of space-variant and space-invariant blur, which is challenging to mathematically represent. In this work, we provide a cutting-edge blur kernel-free picture deblurring technique. We use two photographs, one fuzzy with low shutter speed and low ISO noise, and the other noisy with fast shutter speed and high ISO noise, both of which may be easily obtained in low-light conditions. By dividing the blurred picture into patches, we can use the corresponding patches in the noisy image to extend the Gaussian mixture model (GMM) and describe the underlying intensity distribution of each patch. Utilizing an analysis of the optical flow between the two pictures, we generate patch correspondences. The Expectation Maximization (EM) algorithm is utilized to estimate the parameters of GMM. To preserve sharp features, we add an additional bilateral term to the objective function in the M-step. We eventually add a detail layer to the deblurred image for refinement. Extensive experiments on both synthetic and real-world data demonstrate that our method outperforms state-of-the terms of robustness, visual quality, and quantitative metrics.

There is an increasing trend to use products manufactured from the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics or Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) composites in the industry like aerospace, automotive, sports, medical, renewable energy etc. It is because of the lighter weight, higher strength, hence, higher strength-to-weight ratio of these materials, their higher corrosion resistance, higher fatigue resistance etc. Manufacturing of products from CFRP composites need precise machining, including cutting. Cutting of these materials is very difficult and inefficient with non-laser traditional techniques. Using continuous wave (cw) or pulsed fiber lasers solves many of these limitations of cutting CFRP composites. These processes have been optimized by many researchers for reducing the heat affected zones (HAZ) by optimizing the laser parameters like its power, pulse duration, feeding speed etc. Finally the environmental hazards of laser-based cutting of CFRP composites and the safety measures are also discussed in this paper.

The development of MEMS has been driven by the need for miniaturization and lowering the overall manufacturing cost. The field of MEMS is concerned with the development of integrated systems of sensors, actuators and associated electronics. Even though the electronics industry provides an economy of scale for the silicon industry, crystalline silicon is still a complex and relatively expensive material to produce. The development of polymer micromachining technologies that complement traditional silicon approaches has enabled the broadening of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) applications. Polymeric Bio-MEMS (Biomedical Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) have great potential in their current and future applications which include genomics, proteomics, molecular diagnostics, point-of-care diagnostics, tissue engineering, single cell analysis and implantable micro-devices. The polymeric materials are very fragile and not rigid which restrict their manufacturing processes. To minimize many such problems, excimer lasers and femtosecond lasers have been used for the precise micromachining of Bio-MEMS, the details of which are discussed in this paper.

The primary goal of this work is to investigate and construct a fingerprint-based passport identification and verification system based on microcontroller matching, which is often utilized in fingerprint approaches. The method consists of deleting fingerprint feature elements from the fingerprint sensor unit and then comparing fingerprints based on how many times the two fingerprints in question have been linked. When they do, the passports' validity for individual verification is confirmed. It's a wonderful method for selecting and positively identifying a specific person. We can use technology to improve security in every location.

In the age of information, communication, and technology, cybersecurity has become a complex and fast changing security challenge (ICT). Cyber threats appear to be infiltrating every nook and cranny of national economies and infrastructure as ICT dependence spreads around the world; in fact, the increased use of computers and Internet-based networking has been accompanied by an increase in cyberattack incidents targeting individuals, businesses, and governments. Certain governments are increasingly viewing ICT as both a battleground for strategic warfare and a strategic asset to be leveraged for national security purposes. This paper examines the role of cybersecurity in the present security discussion, deepening the analysis by looking at the cybersecurity area from India's perspective.

The migration phenomenon, particularly from rural to urban areas, is a significant determinant shaping demographic dynamics globally and in the Indian context. In India, rural-urban migration has profound socio-political and economic implications, impacting population size, composition, and spatial distribution. This research focuses on analysing the drivers, experiences, and consequences of migration from Umla Village to Leh Town, situated in the Ladakh region of India, contributing to the discourse on rural-urban migration in the country. Through a mixed-method approach combining qualitative and quantitative methodologies, the study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of migration dynamics and their impacts on both sending and receiving communities. The findings reveal that a significant proportion of migrants from Umla Village have successfully integrated into the labour market of Leh Town, with 30.6% securing employment in the government sector and 50.3% in the private sector. However, 19.1% of migrants remain unemployed upon relocation, indicating potential challenges in accessing suitable employment opportunities in the urban environment. Additionally, disparities in demographic characteristics between Umla Village and Leh Town are evident, with differences in dependency ratios and educational attainment levels. The reasons motivating migration vary, with economic opportunities, education, healthcare, better infrastructure, and environmental factors such as water shortages playing significant roles. These findings have several implications for policy interventions aimed at addressing the needs of migrants and promoting sustainable development. Enhancing rural livelihood opportunities, strengthening access to education and healthcare services in rural areas, and investing in urban infrastructure in Leh Town are crucial steps to support local development, accommodate the growing influx of migrants, and ensure their well-being in urban environments.

Abstract: It has been known for the evidences from trends of work participation rate that the female work participation rate is declining over a long period of time. The scholars have attributed this decline to increase in family income. Therefore, the argument is that the since the family income is sufficient, the women need not work anymore. This paper tries to analyse this argument with the help of employment and unemployment data from NSSO's Quinquennial surveys. Women are not a homogenous category. Their participation in work is determined by caste, class, culture and geography. Therefore, decline in women's work participation rate can not be explained as a result of the, merely, improvement in the economic status of their household. There are also the indications of existence of economic distress among women and the indications for existence of economic distress exceeds the indications for existence of economic prosperity in poor regions of India by a huge margin. Gender norms become very complex when various factors like geography, caste, class, urbanism etc. overlap each other, increasing the complexity in the relationship between women's work participation and their economic status. For instance, the poor women are not likely to quit work if the aggregate benefits of working exceed the value of their domestic responsibilities and fulfil their working aspirations including good quality work. There are several such possibilities that are likely to emerge in diverse socio-economic and cultural settings. Therefore, there is an ample need of region specific studies to account the disappearance of women workers from labour market.

A well-equipped library is the heart of any educational institution and also helpful for the growth of a nation's economy by providing knowledge and information on time. A library should be equipped with the modern technology to store the digital information in a wide number which can be retrieved quickly by various users from anyplace. Better library services can be achieved on time in collaboration with the modern technology i.e. Cloud Computing. Cloud computing technology offers great opportunities for libraries with accessibility anywhere, anytime and on any device. Cloud computing allows libraries to avoid locally hosting multiple servers, equipment and constantly dealing with hardware failure, software installation, up-gradation, compatibility issues etc.
