The article will enumerate the causes behind the religious extremism in Sri Lanka. It will underline the teachings of the Theravada tradition of Buddhism about war and conflict. Sri Lanka is a land of Buddhistsa religion that preaches peace and harmony. But a section of monks using the erroneous interpretation of texts is justifying violence on minorities. This has inculcated a sense of distrust among the various ethnic and religious groups in the society and transforming Sri Lanka into a majoritarian state. Sri Lanka has experienced similar targeting of minorities during colonial period as well when Buddhist revival movement was taking place. The earlier incidents of conflict and violence against the Muslims help to understand the present incidents which are taking place against them. Thus, the last section will deal with the various causes which have led to the rise to religious extremism in the post-civil war Sri Lanka. The spread of Islamophobia has not only contributed but vindicated the acts of violence on Muslims. The attack on Muslims, justified in the name of extremism in Islam and threat it poses to Buddhism globally, will be analyzed.

Satyagraha has often been translated as "holding fast to truth". Gandhi began practising some form of Satyagraha in South Africa. Later he began to propound its conceptual and theoretical foundations. To be a Satyagrahi one has to practice the principles or nonviolence (ahinsa). Gandhi never violated the basic principle in his whole life. When the people in non-cooperation movement turned violent, he withdrew the political movement. For practicing it, one has to observe; restrain in one's actions. Practising non-violence does not show any weakness but only strength. All these concepts analysed above are a part of the Indian traditions but Gandhi brought them to a higher level by providing universal meanings. Satyagrah is based on the principle of 'purity of ends and means.' Gandhiji said Satyagraha is nothing but Tapasya for truth and justice. It is a weapon based on truth non-violence and self suffering to fight against injustice. It is the weapon of the non-violent struggle.

Digital marketing is a paid form of promotion of products and services through an identified sponsor using a digital medium. Digital marketing is that element of promotion mix, which is often considered prominent in the overall marketing matrix. Its high visibility and pervasiveness has made it an important commercial medium in Indian society. It is a means of influencing the consumer to buy products or services through visual or audio persuasion. A product or service is primarily advertised to create awareness of its utility in the minds of potential buyers. As a result of globalization and the consequent changes in consumer buying patterns, the advertising industry has undergone significant transformation in past few years. The current article highlights the scenario of digital marketing challenges and ways to overcome it.

India contributes to one-fifth of global live births and more than a quarter of neonatal deaths. Nearly, 0.75 million neonates died in India in 2013, the highest for any country in the world. The current Neonatal Mortality Rate is 28 per 1000 live births. Given the infant and under-five child mortality rates of 40 and 49 per 1000 live births respectively, 70% of total infant deaths, and more than half of under-five deaths fall in the neonatal period. Indeed, with the early NMR of 22 per 1000 live births, deaths in the first week alone account for 45% of total under-five deaths. The rapid human development of the past decades is reflected in a steep fall in infant mortality. In 1960, 12% of babies worldwide died in their first year of life compared to only 3% in 2015.1 Over three-fifths of the infant deaths that still occur are neonatal deaths, meaning deaths in the first month of life. Although progress in reducing both neonatal and infant deaths has been rapid, it has also been uneven. Twenty-seven percent of neonatal deaths now occur in India. India has a large population, but its share of neonatal mortality is disproportionately large: it is home to 19% of worldwide births. To explain Indias unique later-born NNM advantage, we document these facts about maternal underweight for India, and show that they differ compared with the rest of the developing world.

The economic development of the world is highly dependent on fossil fuel supplies which are constrained not only by limited availability but also generate high levels of pollution. Looking at the limited fossil fuel associated with problems, concerted efforts have been started to search for alternative bio fuels like bio ethanol and biodiesel. Since the diesel is being used massively in industrial commercial, agriculture and other sectors. Therefore, the production and utilization of biodiesel from oil seeds crops has been getting renewed interest in recent years in the India to overcome the demerits of oil from oil seed crops. The production of biodiesel from microalgae has several advantages over the above resources due to higher algal biomass and oil productivities and the need of non-arable land for its growth. Industrial and municipal wastewaters can be potentially utilized for cultivation of micro algal oil that can be used for the production of biodiesel to completely displace Petro diesel. The micro algal biomass has been reported to yield high oil contents and have the diesel production. Accordingly, lot of work has been initiated for the growth, harvesting, oil extraction and conversion to biodiesel Potential Microalgae from the Wetlands of North Bihar.
