ABSTRACT Agriculture began when early humans realized that some of the plants growing in the wild could be used for food, clothing and health care. Humans all over the world identified, selected and cultivated only those plants that were useful to them and were best suited for cultivation in their regions. Each crop plant is considered to have originated in a specific region of the world. Crop plants from these regions spread to other parts of the world during different periods of our agricultural history. According to the Government of India, one of the reasons to legislate the PPVFR Act and to allow PBR on plant varieties is the TRIPS agreement India signed under WTO. Considering the consequences of this to Indian agriculture and the farming community, one may like to ask why India did join the WTO and undertook such agreements. WTO is a world organization for trade. International trade is important to all countries and more so to India because of its big population and growing economy. India is a founder member and key player of the United Nations system and the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT). The GATT, which was established under UN, has now been changed to the WTO. International relations are important for every country, particularly in times of globalization. International relations, however, have both advantages and disadvantages. Every country tries to achieve a net advantage over the long term. In the WTO, India is one among 147 countries. Most of the countries who are not currently members of the WTO are trying to get membership.

The purpose of this paper is to study the contribution of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in Philosophy and Education. Ambedkar that education is a necessary pre-requisite for the reconstruction of society under the principles of equality and justice. He said that 'Education is what makes a man fearless, teaches him the lesson of unity, makes him aware of his rights and inspires him to struggle for his rights'. If it does not fulfill its objectives, it is useless. Dr. Ambedkar strongly held that education should be a priority for the society and utilized for growth of individuals with character. He puts all his efforts to ensure the educational opportunities to all the citizens of independent India. His burning message was 'Educate', 'Agitate' and 'Organize'. According to Ambedkar Primary education occupies a significant place in the educational reconstruction of a developing country. He recognized that, lack of education was the main cause for the backwardness of poor people. That is why he laid more stress on higher education that on primary education, "Education is something which ought to be brought within the reach of every one", was the fundamental educational thought of Dr. Ambedkar.

Here is an attempt to trace the trends of myth and mysticism in Contemporary Indian Poetry in English. Myth and mysticism occupies an important place, position and appears to be the core of Indian poetry in English and Contemporary Indian poetry in English is richly submerged with myth and mystic elements. Myth is a well- known story which was used in the past to explain natural events or to justify religious beliefs or social customs. But mysticism is a religious practice in which people through meditation and prayer search for truth, knowledge and closeness to God. The question of mystic is very broad we cannot define exactly maybe we can define in periphery, a person who seeks by contemplation and self-surrender to obtain unity with or absorption into the deity or the absolute, or who believes in the spiritual apprehension of truths that are beyond the intellect.

GST is one of the biggest as well as historical tax reforms in India which replaced number of different indirect taxes of the central and state governments. GST has unified the Indian economy into a seamless national market. In April 2010, the ruling government of that regime also proposed to implement GST but due to political issues and conflicting interests of various stakeholders, the government failed to implement the same. Afterwards on 1st July 2017 the Government of India enforced GST law which extended to whole of India. The main objective of this law is to remove all the draw backs of the previous indirect tax system and provide transparency in the tax implementation. In the previous indirect tax regime the tax rates were vary from state to state but after the implementation of GST there is a uniform rate of tax throughout the country. Previously various indirect tax laws had no provisions for input tax credit and large numbers of tax payers were not eligible for input tax credit even after paying a large amount of taxes on the inputs. But now all the tax payers are eligible to avail input tax credit. This paper presents an overview of GST concept, explains its features along with its advantages over previous indirect tax laws. The paper is more focused on advantages of GST and challenges faced by India in its execution.
