Ecology and ecofeminism have gained trend in world literature in recent years, with writers and scholars exploring the environmental and ecological aspects of literary texts and works to dissect and problematise the understandings of culture, socio-economic spectrums, relationship dynamics and hierarchy, character diversity in various narratives. Gabriel Garcia Marquez, most famously associated with magic realism and dream sequence narratives to explore post-colonial conditions, employs nature as a powerful tool to establish the pre- and post-colonial conditions and in building the thematic narrative of his novel One Hundred Years of Solitude (1967). This paper critically examines ecological allegory and its quintessential significance in connotating the structure and thematic narrative of the work.

Carrot is the most important vegetable grown throughout the world, as it is a very good source of ?- carotene, ?-carotene. The post-harvest losses because of having high moisture content limit the utilization of carrot. The present study focused on the effect of different drying temperature that is 60?,70?and 80? on different thickness of carrot slices, in combination with pretreatment of NaCl (salt)The result from the experiment indicate that with increase in thickness of the carrot slices the drying time to attain the equilibrium also increases. The time taken for drying was more for blanched sample as compare to the control sample, as blanching involves the immersing of food in boiling water, which can increase its water content. Therefore, the blanched sample take longer time to dry. It also indicates that the moisture ratio of the blanched sample is lower than that of control sample after drying.

The Khasi's have a traditional political institution known as the Dorbar which acts as the framework and structure of the administration, governing and adjudication in a community or village. Generally considered as a male dominated institute based on certain tradition, customary laws and practices. Hence, women are not allowed to participate in this governing process of the Dorbar. The study aims to give insight on why the Dorbar Shnong as a governing body continues to exclude women form the administrative process and look upon the various aspects towards women which deems them unworthy or unethical to be involve in the male centric institution of the Dorbar. The main idea behind the research is to understand the negligence of women from the Dorbar even though the Khasi are considered to be a matrilineal society. The study examined an in-depth study from the perspective of various Headman and peoples within the Khasi Hills and how they view the participation of women in the Dorbar. The study is keen upon giving a clear understanding of how different administrative body of the Dorbar deals with the concept of women being involve in the Dorbar, how women can contribute in the local governing process of the Dorbar and gives a wider understanding of the existence of gender roles within the Khasi society especially in the context of the Dorbar. The study found that different traditional councils or Dorbar have their own views and opinion regarding women participation in the Dorbar, not many by some Dorbar do include women in governing process however that are not given any political power or authority in the Dorbar. Their main role here is just providing opinion on certain issues. Some Dorbar even allow women to participate in times of electing of a new Headman but many Dorbar still continues to exclude women from this practice. The Dorbar being an evolved concept of administration in which changes are made depending on the emergences of need and requirement for change and this is still not the case in present Khasi society. Most Dorbar and the generally public still do not recognized the importance of women in such institute thus widening the gap for women participation to be completely acceptable in Khasi Society.

The design and development of a women's party wear portfolio involves a creative and systematic process aimed at crafting a collection that reflects modern fashion trends, meets target audience expectations, and highlights the designer's skills. This abstract outlines the essential steps in creating a well-rounded portfolio, from research to final presentation. First, research plays a pivotal role in gathering inspiration, identifying trends, and understanding the preferences of the target demographic. The project then transitions into concept development, where initial sketches, themes, and color palettes are established, taking into account seasonal trends, fabric choices, and styling elements unique to party wear. Material selection follows, with a focus on luxurious fabrics like silk, satin, velvet, and lace, which lend themselves to the elegance of party wear. The portfolio development then includes technical processes like pattern making, fabric testing, and sample development, which are refined through fittings and adjustments to ensure the ideal fit and aesthetic appeal. Finally, a photoshoot captures the finished garments, with the digital and physical portfolios arranged to highlight the collection's cohesion and detail. This portfolio serves not only as a showcase of design capabilities but also as a valuable tool for presenting concepts to potential clients, employers, and collaborators in the fashion industry, positioning the designer as a credible and creative professional in women's evening and formal wear.

Nanoemulsions are kinetically stable liquid-in-liquid dispersions with droplet sizes typically around 100 nm. Due to their small size, they have special properties such as high surface area per unit volume, high stability and high visibility. These properties make nanoemulsions very versatile and find applications in many areas such as drug delivery, food, cosmetics, medicine and information science. Preparation of nanoemulsions can be done using high and low energy such as high-pressure homogenization, ultrasonic treatment, phase change temperature and emulsion inversion point technology. Recent developments have introduced new techniques such as foaming techniques to further improve the process.

This study is aimed to elauvate monosodium glutamate content in food items. In the study prepration and analysis of sample and prepare the standard solution while same procedure. Monosodium glutamate stock solution was prepared by dissolving 3g of pure monosodium glutamate in 20ml of distilled water and filtered. Then from the filtrate 1 ml,2ml,3ml,4ml,5ml is pipette out. Add 4ml of freshly prepared 0.5% ninhydrin solution and heat under waterbath until blue color is appeared. Cool the solution and absorbance is measured using uv visible spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 571nm. In the ninhydrin test, a solution of different samples of food products was added with 0.5% ninhydrin reagent. Then heated into a water bath for a few minutes so that the ninhydrin could react with free ? amino acids found in monosodium glutamate which was indicated by a change in color from clear to blue and the results obtained from the different samples are positive for Monosodium Glutamate (MSG).

The effectiveness of the rape laws has been called into question by recent incidents like the one that occurred in Kolkata. Do the laws work to change, or do they offer a dangerous haven for gradually sophisticated misconduct? The research explores whether the existing legal framework has two sides, offering protection and revealing fresh weaknesses simultaneously. The study investigates whether India's rape laws constitute an advancement in the administration of justice or whether they unintentionally backfire and have unexpected repercussions through a thorough examination of legislative reforms. When considering the recent occurrence that occurred in Kolkata, the following questions come to mind: Would changing India's rape laws result in more justice or more crime? Are India's laws a shelter for victims or a haven for criminal activity? Does the Rape Legislation Advance Criminal Strategy or Backfire? Are India's laws against rape a Double-Edged Sword, Protecting Against Danger?
