 Abstract

In the existing parking system searching for parking space is always been a difficult process. In metropolitan cities it became a major issue due to space problem, no parking zones etc, hence comes the need of such a system which can automatically assists us to search the nearest available parking space in the surrounding area. Thus it will help us in saving time, petrol & money. Most of them are manually managed and a little inefficient. All the work is done by staff of the parking slot. Drivers give the money to the staff directly. Many people are not satisfied with the current management of the parking system and the flexibility of finding empty space to park their vehicles. Parking demand is routinely high at theaters, shopping malls and offices. This paper is to develop a Reservation based vehicle parking reservation system to overcome the problem of unnecessary time consumption in finding parking spot in commercial parking areas. In this proposed system, we reserve the parking slot in shopping malls, theatres and offices by using short message service (SMS). User reserves the slot by sending a message to GSM modem placed at the parking end. GSM modem gives slot number and a password if the slots are available which is used to allow or deny access to the parking area at the entrance and exit. IR sensor is used for the indication of empty slot with a green LED. User can park the vehicle at the given zone, and this is valid up to a certain grace period only after that the priority will be given to next user. RFID technology is used for entering and exiting parking area and also used to debit the amount for parking charges through RFID tag. The main contribution is the system has more security .Thus users can just reserve the parking slots using the SMS.

 Abstract

Biofertilizers are biologically derived nutrients that are given to the soil to improve soil fertility. Biofertilizers are substance that contains biological organisms. Microorganisms have arisen as promising alternatives for increasing the productivity, reliability and long term viability of agriculture. There are different kinds of biofertilizers for plant growth and crop production such as Nitrogen fixing, Phosphate solubilizing, compost, Mycorrhizal and plant growth promoting biofertilizers etc. Liquid biofertilizer is more effective and shelf life is higher than solid biofertilizers. By nitrogen fixing bacteria atmospheric nitrogen convert into ammonium which utilizes the plants as nutrients. This bacteria live with plants in a symbiotic relationship. This ammonium used by plants for their growth and production increases. It is available in various form like powder form, liquid form, solid form. This method is easy for production and inexpensive for nitrogen fixation. It is easy to apply in field by various methods either fungal or bacterial biofertilizer in liquid form. It's limitation is it can't be mix up with chemical fertilizers otherwise it's reverse effects observed and kept under the low temperature for storage. This biofertilizers ale lower cost and ten times effective than chemical fertilizers. By using biofertilizers instead of chemical fertilizers reduce environmental and land pollution.

 Abstract

Madhya Pradesh is rich in forests and resources. Madhya Pradesh's tribes are extremely knowledgeable about the medicinal applications of numerous plants and their extracts. Argemone mexicana extracts were used for medicinal purposes by the tribes of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. In the present study, Argemone mexicana was selected to test its antibacterial activities as it is abundantly available in Madhya Pradesh and is used by the tribes as folk medicine. During the present study, several extracts (aqueous extract, ethanol extract, acetone extract, and methanol extract) of A. mexicana leaves, stems, and flowers showed significant antibacterial activity against the clinical and environmental isolates of E. coli, P. aeruginosa, S. typhi, and S. aureus. The present investigation shows that the knowledge of tribes for tribal medicine is tremendous. The need is to use their knowledge after proper experimental proof.

 Abstract

The goal of this research is to see how well the wavelet transform performs while de-noising a spoken signal. Wavelets are frequently employed in digital voice processing, particularly in speech signal coding, augmentation, and noise removal. Because of the background noise of genuine speech, it might be difficult to recognize it in many situations. A voice denoising algorithm's purpose is to recover the original speech signal by reducing noise with the least amount of distortion possible. There are a number of techniques that may be used to assist recover speech that has been distorted by noise. Many of the commonly used denoising techniques do so in the frequency domain, where the noisy signal's power spectral density (PSD) function can be analyzed in a short time period. Then, for each frame of the noisy data, the short-time spectral frequency and amplitude of clean speech are computed. As a result of the limits of methodologies, estimate mistakes are introduced. For decades, many spectrum estimating strategies have been studied in order to decrease estimation mistakes. The discrete wavelet transform technique is employed in this work to denoise an input noisy voice stream. Different wavelet filters, such as Daubechies, Symlets, and Coiflets, are used to evaluate the performance of discrete wavelet transforms. MATLAB software was used to do the analysis. Different sorts of environmental background noises were studied as input noisy speech signals, such as babbling noise (crowd of people) or noisy talks with various types of background vehicle noises (cars, train, plane etc.). With hard or soft thresholding approaches, the input noisy speech signal was decomposed by applying four alternative threshold selections to the wavelet coefficient: sqtwolog, heursure, rigrsure,and minimaxi thresholding. The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and MSE values between noisy and output signals were used to compare reconstructed speech to the original speech signal. Detailed comparisons of several wavelet families' capabilities against various background noise types are included, as well as the discovery of an efficient approach (Maximal overlap DWT-MODWT) for denoising noisy voice signals.

 Abstract

Background: Musculoskeletal disorders are common problems affecting the elderly and it is the main reason for disability. In case of osteoarthritis they are commonly report restrictions in their ability to carry out meaningful everyday activities and often require assistance from others. For these subpopulation, quality of life is referring to old age it must be required to address the broad diversity of ways of aging; that is, from successful aging through usual aging to aging with disability (and dependency). Functional autonomy is considered an important marker to physical fitness, quality of life and elderly health. In this study an attempt made to give occupational therapy intervention focusing on functionality as well as QOL of elderly. Methodology: We prospectively assessed functionality and quality of life using, functional Autonomy-SMAF and Quality of Life-WHOQOL (BREF) questionnaire respectively with implementation of 4 weeks of occupational therapy,. Pre-post intervention, experimental design was chosen on 30 samples having osteoarthritis with age 60 years and above attending the rehabilitation unit of Jamia Hamdard. Subjects with severe neurological and cardiac issues were excluded from the study. Result: Out of 30 subjects, 17 are male and 13 are female. Final data was analysed by independent t test. In functionality, Basic ADL, IADL and Mobility were significant and in quality of life physical, psychological and social domain were significant. Conclusion: The finding of the study suggests that it is possible with association with conventional therapy occupational therapy intervention and ergonomically advice to decrease the musculoskeletal disorder, and improve functional autonomy as well as quality of life. The intervention is simple to administer which can to easily follow by the elderly population at home.
