Why IJCRT Publishes Every Policy in Full

A journal’s policies decide what happens to your paper long before anyone reads it: how much you pay and when, who reviews your work and how, what counts as plagiarism or misuse of AI, who may be listed as an author, and how mistakes are put right after publication. IJCRT writes each of these rules down and publishes it here, so you can check every condition before you submit rather than discovering it afterwards.

The policies follow recognised international guidance — COPE for publication ethics, ICMJE for authorship and clinical trials, Creative Commons for licensing and the FAIR principles for data — and apply equally to every author, whatever the subject or country. The map below shows which policies matter at each stage of a paper’s journey.

Post-Publication & the Record

Corrections, retractions, appeals and how the archive is preserved

Errata, corrigenda and addenda. Published papers are never edited silently — every change is a public, linked, permanent notice.

Grounds for retraction and the process behind it. A retracted paper is marked permanently, never deleted — removing it would break every citation to it.

Guides Behind the Policies

Longer explainers for the topics authors ask about most

A policy states the rule. These pages explain the reasoning, the context and what it means in practice. Each topic has a detailed reference page and a visual guide — open whichever suits how you read.

UGC CARE List Discontinued

UGC withdrew the CARE Journal List on 3 October 2024 and replaced it with suggestive parameters. All fourteen, and the evidence IJCRT meets each.

Transparent Peer Review

Reviewer reports published beside the article, optional identity disclosure and a verifiable certificate — what the UGC 2025 policy asks a journal to demonstrate.

Plagiarism Check

An official iThenticate by Turnitin similarity report from ₹500, AI writing detection on request — for external journals, theses and book manuscripts.

Books, Theses & ISBN

IJCRT Publication also publishes books, dissertations and theses — free ISBN, 100% author royalty and distribution to 200+ global stores.

Journal Policies: Common Questions

Where can I find all of IJCRT’s policies?
On this page. Every policy that affects authors, reviewers and readers — fees, peer review, ethics, AI use, authorship, copyright, corrections and retractions — is listed here with a link to the full text.
When is the publication fee charged?
Only after a paper is accepted — never at submission and never as a condition of review. It is ₹1501 for Indian authors and $59 for foreign authors.
Which ethics guidance do the policies follow?
COPE guidance for publication ethics, ICMJE criteria for authorship and clinical trials, Creative Commons (CC BY 4.0) for licensing and the FAIR principles for data.
Can I use AI tools when writing my paper?
Yes, for language and readability, provided the use is declared. AI cannot be an author or generate data, and every citation must be checked against the real source.
What happens if an error is found after publication?
A public, linked correction is published. Serious problems can lead to an expression of concern or a retraction; retracted papers stay online, clearly marked.
